I knew what I had to do, but damn, this could either go off smoothly or blow up in my face.

Grabbing my phone, I dialed Walter.
"Get me an appointment with Tony. And make sure he knows he doesn't have a choice but to meet me in twenty minutes."
I didn't wait for a reply before hanging up. I was still frustrated by the situation.

Tony owed me big time. A favor for saving his wife and daughter from a kidnapping.
And today, I was cashing in.

I sped toward his building. My mind raced, but I kept my cool, running through every scenario in my head. This meeting had to go perfectly.

Arriving at the building, I didn't waste time. I walked straight to the reception desk.
The girl behind the counter gave me a polite smile, but I wasn't in the mood for small talks.

"How may I help you, miss?" she asked, her voice energetic.

"Chantelle Carter, I have a meeting with Garcia."
I replied, my tone sharp.

Her smile widened, clearly recognizing the name. "Oh yes, Mr. Garcia is expecting you. Top floor, down the hall, big door at the end"

I nodded, offering her a small smile in return, but it was more out of manners than anything else.
I had bigger things on my mind.

Standing outside the door, I hesitated for a split second, wondering if I should knock or just barge in.
What the hell was I thinking?
This was no time for second-guessing.
I rolled my eyes at myself, then pushed the door open and stepped inside, closing it firmly behind me.

Tony was relaxing in his chair, a blunt in his hand, the smoke curling lazily toward the ceiling. He glanced up, his eyes narrowing.

"Chanel! What can I do for you?" he asked, his voice casual, but I could see the curiosity behind his gaze.

"Let's cut to the chase" I said, walking over and taking a seat across from him.
"I need you to help me get a position with the Shirleys"

His eyes widened in shock, and he nearly choked on his smoke, coughing hard.
"You're serious? Do you have any idea what you're asking for?"
He leaned forward, worry carved on his face.

"Introduce me to Mr. Shirley as Chantelle" I said calmly. "He doesn't know what I look like."

Tony wiped a hand over his face, clearly trying to process the situation.
"And his son?" he asked, his voice tense.

"He won't find out until it's too late. I've been preparing for this. Once Mr. Shirley sees what I can do, he'll want me on his side"
I crossed my legs, my confidence unwavering.
