The Hargreeves siblings had gathered in the kitchen as it was the first place Five went in the house. They all had questions they wanted answers to.
These ranged from being about his sudden reappearance to where he had been all the time he was gone. You don't just disappear for seventeen years without having a story to tell about it all.
As Five stood at one end of the table the rest of the siblings sat crammed together at the other end. Charlotte sat with her legs dangling off the edge of the table next to Klaus which was a slightly tight squeeze but they managed.
Since he came out the vortex Charlotte hadn't taken her eyes off of Five, scared that if she looked away for even a second he might disappear on her again. As well as that she had herself and had gotten Klaus to pinch her arm worried she might have just been dreaming the whole thing.
Five hadn't said a word to them since entering the house and neither had they. It was the shock of seeing him after all that time. "What's the date? The exact date?" Five asked breaking the silence.
"The 24th of March" Charlotte answered him as he took out the bread not sure why he wanted to know so she asked "Why?"
"Good" Five nodded not even bothering to answer his sister's question. She had a feeling this was what he would be like with most questions they asked him about his time away. Five was alway one to be straight to business.
"So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?"Luther asked him but yet Five continued making his sandwich ignoring him. "It's been 17 years"
"It's been a lot longer than that" Five scoffed as he jumped through space to get past Luther to the shelves he blocked as he stood up.
"I haven't missed that" Luther sighed. Charlotte had to agree when they were kids Five always used his powers to get ahead but with powers like so useful who could blame him.
She would often use her own powers to sneak into rooms her siblings couldn't by becoming smaller animals or reach the hidden cookie jar on the top shelf by becoming something taller than them.
"Where'd you go" Diego asked not even looking over to him.
"The future" Five answered as he shifted back to his place at the table.
"Ooo what's it like?" Charlotte asked him curiously as to what the future might have in store.
"It's shit" Five told her simply being straight to the point as he always was making Charlotte frown slightly.
"Called it" Klaus pointed out to his siblings who probably couldn't care less.
"I should've listened to the old man. You know, jumping through space is one thing, jumping through time is a role of the dice" Five sighed as he continued going about the kitchen "Nice dress" he told Klaus who replied with a simple "Danke!"
