The little moments of ours
Yours eyes that glistened, enough to hold the galaxy
During Winter's embrace of December
Will forever be a day that I will treasure
Familiar melodies that linger in the air
I turn the radio up, hoping you would hear
Words are not enough to describe
the beauty you have brought into my life
But the wishful thinking, keeps the memories alive
Never did i wish things were different
Because you were perfect to begin with
We didn't need to stargaze under the pitch black sky
For your eyes were the stars that I adore
Great heavens know that I was always yours.
In every lifetime of mine
I will never not choose you
Because if not you, who?
Even with no forever
I will always remember
If only we had tried harder
And fought against the odds
We could have continued our story
Because on the very first day of December
I do remember.
