"He hired a lawyer? For what?"
"It seems like it. His assistant told me about it when I dropped by the HQ last week. Something about him wants to secure the company. Will this affecting your plan to get back LT Group to its rightful owner?"
The person snickered at the question that they already had the answer for that.
"He's wasting his own time. No matter what happens, LT Group will come back to where it belongs. Lee Minho won't get anything from the company. The rightful owner is me."

"So you are saying...Director Lee sensed that someone is trying to bamboozle Lee's Tech Group's data?"
Younghyun nodded at Seungmin's question after finishing their meeting for that day with the CEO of the said company. Both of them were looking into nothingness in their plates while having their lunch for that day. The kalguksu restaurant near their firm usually made them gobble the noodle easily in one sitting, but not today. Their heads are heavy with a lot of information and plans that they need to do right away after they finish eating.
"Actually, someone leaked that the financial report from the past five years, which around a few millions of the money made by company just poofed into the thin air without official receipt or anything. Something just didn't add up based on the reports. In short, a whistleblower personally contacted Director Lee and he quickly acted on his own first, before involving anyone else. Not even his uncle, his father's little brother who is the biggest shareholder of LT Group, know about this."
Seungmin nodded at another vast of information that he's getting today. His head almost reached the limit of information transfer for today.
"That's so brave of him. Given that he just stepped up as the CEO just last year." Seungmin commented. He genuinely amazed by the decision made by Minho as someone who just stepped into the position as big as his.
"I would say Director Lee is one of the genius businessmen I've ever met in the corporate world I ever worked with. He's the type to look forward for every opportunity that might come his way. And he's the type to give meticulous attention to every single details that's happening around the company. Nothing escapes his vision, just like his late father. That's why he took such a short time to get to where he is now. I think that's why these greedy people get into the picture. Someone is trying to snatch what Director Lee has been working on since last year. The documents that he gave us kinda suspicious to me. Something is not right, but I couldn't pinpoint where. It's a lot."
Seungmin could only nod at Younghyun's long explanation and reasoning. He had his point, here and there. But the Lee Minho that he met a few months ago weren't the same Lee Minho that walked into their firm this morning.
"He still look like a dick to me..."
"Pardon?" Younghyun obviously heard what Seungmin muttered under his breath, he's just trying to confirm it.
"Ehem, what I meant was—"
Just before Seungmin could continue his sentence and defend himself in front of his senior, the familiar strong demeanor that Seungmin started to get familiar with entered the restaurant.
"Younghyun-ssi. Sorry for interrupting your lunch, but I need to talk to you right now." Minho's face was desperate and wariness painted on his expression, and Younghyun quickly gathered his things as he knew he needed to leave upon the sudden call.
"Oh, Minho-ssi. No problem-- Kim Seungmin, I'm heading to the firm first. I'm leaving my card to you. You can pay the food for today and have anything that you want before you come back to the firm."
Seungmin nodded as he accepted the card. The two silhouettes left the restaurant in a hurry as Seungmin was finishing his kalguksu. He's thinking about their new client.
Minho indeed has a lot of colors that can describe his demeanor.
The first time Seungmin met him during the sudden interview for Yang Jeongin, the young CEO exuding the shade of orange. Amber, specifically. How Seungmin could see the confidence and tha charisma overflowing from the way he was dressed and brought himself to the professional table. But the tiney little thing about how sketchy Minho's office was made Seungmin declared how a 'dick' person he is. Arrogance is a word that can also describe how the young CEO was.
The second time Seungmin met the young CEO was during that night where Younghyung dragged him for the older's new client that now Seungmin is a part of it too. That night, Minho is wearing his black mannerism. Still the same young CEO with confidence exuding from his every move. But it was added with how elegancy and sophisticated fitted the latter is. That was when he's seeing the true potential on why Lee Minho is the top CEOs in South Korea, making LT Group as one of the biggest companies in this country. Seungmin understand the 'control' that Minho has in his hands.
But today, Seungmin is seeing something different. It's-- not something that he saw from their last two meetings. It's somehow clouded. It's grey. How Minho tried to cover up the wariness that he had but still maintaining his elegant way of talking and the maturity in making decision.
Sighing into his current fate, Seungmin ended his little train of thoughts about the young CEO, their firm's new client.
It's interesting that he got the chance to work with someone as big and in a higher position as Lee Minho. But let's not get deeper into it. He knows how the world that Minho lives in look like. His two year of working in the firm has been exposing him to a lot of filthy things happened in their 'world'. Seungmin has a little to zero interest from getting himself involved with it.

"Samchon. Are you okay with Minho handling and leading the company at the moment?" the familiar voice asked Myungsoo.
Myungsoo chuckled at the question that he knew would trap him if he's giving an answer that the person didn't want to hear. But Minho is his nephew. He's been taking care of Minho since 20 years ago. He just doesn't care of the threat anymore.
"Why would I not? He got LT Group into Top 5 Company in 2023 for electronic and EV products. If anything, I am proud of him." Myungsoo gently took his cup and whiffed the fragrance from the chamomile of his tea.
"But samchon--"
"Just handle the branch company properly, will you? Stop bother Minho around. The bequeath cannot be changed, and will never be, when the board of directors favor him than you. If you dare to touch Minho, I will not hesitate to make the jail as your next vacation house. Remember that."
As Myungsoo said that, he's prepared to leave. There's nothing more he wants to do here.
