A few months later.

"Are you coming, Seungmin hyung?" Jeongin voice is heard from the other line as Seungmin was typing onto his computer's keyboard.

The report won't get typed by itself though. And it's already 9:21 PM— it has passed his working hour, and he will  miss the last train if he can't make it to the subway in 30 minutes from now.

Seungmin sighs as his fingers are still typing on the keyboard. "Tell Hyunjin to get you home safely. I don't think I can join both of you. But I'm positive that I'm going to have a hot night with my computer and report. They made my blood boil at the moment."

He can hear the younger whine from the other line. Hyunjin too, before he then catches the latter's voice into the line.

"Can't you settle them at home at least? Tomorrow is Saturday. Who in their right mind stays at the office on Friday night? That's crazy!"

Seungmin let out another weak sigh. "Apparently, it's me, Hyunjin-ah." Seungmin types in another line of the report and only then there's a light knock on the door to his room.

After seeing the shadow of his senior slash close mentor— Kang Younghyun, Seungmin quickly ends the call with the duo and answers his mentor.

"Seungmin-ssi?" there's an obvious frown on the older's face as his eyes scanning around Seungmin's messy room.

"Yes, Younghyun-ssi. Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Uh, yes, actually." Younghyun enters the room and try to make his way to Seungmin's desk.

It's understandable for a lawyer's room to have mountains of paperwork to read and develop a report from them, but this is borderline overworking a junior. He should talk with Seungmin's other mentor regarding the workload given to their junior lawyer.

"Did they told you that you need to submit the report from the latest case by today?" Seungmin nods at the question and Younghyun shook his head in disbelief. "They are over working you, Seungmin-ah. You should say no. It's your second year in this team though. They shouldn't bully you into working overtime like this."

Seungmin smiles weakly at his senior, subtly telling him there's nothing he can do.

Younghyun then saved all the works that Seungmin was doing earlier and shut his computer down.

"But sir—"

"Listen to me. You are going to continue your work by Monday. If anyone asks, tell them it was my order." Younghyun throws a reassuring smile that Seungmin always grateful for the older's existence in his team.

"But I am so sorry that I can't let you go yet. I need you to follow me to meet someone tonight." Younghyun gives him an apologetic eyes after Seungmin finishes tidy up his place a little bit and brings some of the paper home and settles them whenever he can. Seungmin playfully let out a weak sigh but chuckles when Younghyun still apologizing to him.

"I just cancelled my plan for tonight to do my work. So...I have some time though. But the last train..."

"You can crash at my place. It's not your first time though." Younghyun enthusiastically answers, and he's right. Younghyun's apartment isn't a stranger to Seungmin. Seungmin agrees at the idea.

As they step out from their office, Seungmin looks back at his senior as the older unlock his SUV. "So, who are we meeting?"

"I bet that you know him. He is someone— you can say he is well influenced and somehow, the nation's heartthrob. We are meeting one of the executive directors of Lee's Tech, Lee Minho."
