Chapter 1 ( Athena)

"Why??? There must be a reason.. please tell me!!" She cried

" Why should there be a reason..I told you I just played you because I thought that you are atleast more wealthy than me..but guess what you turned out to be a middle low class poor girl" He told.

" Wh..w..hat..t-this was the reason? Money??" She asked shocked.

" Exactly what else would be a reason to love a girl like you..and let me tell you never show me your face ever!! Now get lost." He said and pushed her.

She fell to the cold floor and was shocked..she never thought in her whole life that the man she loved with her whole heart would betray her. She never wanted love.but he showed her the best things and made her fall in love with him unfortunately . She had dreams.

But her dream got shattered just because she was middle class.
" Did he just wanted money?" She asked herself.

EIGHT DAYS LATER..

" Did she agreed?" asked Ezra (her mother)
"No mom she is not even opening the door". said Carter ( her elder brother)
" Now I am worried" he said worrying for his sister.

TEN MONTHS LATER .

Months passed she didn't came out . She just used to take the food then close the door..her parents would hear her crying, shouting and breaking things but can't do anything. She was traumatized.

Today is her 19th birthday

ATHENA'S POV:

Today is my 19th birthday I remember my last one.

FLASHBACK

" Happy birthday , Love." He said
"What are you doing here at this hour?" She asked excited.
"Why? Today's my only love's birthday" he said handing her a big rose bouquet.
"OMG!! Roses! My favourite ❤️" She was happy.
"Yes and you are my favourite" he said
She was blushing and thanking God for giving her a precious life.

END OF FLASHBACK

Remembering this she chuckled bitterly.
" What were you thinking Athena , that day".

No now it's the end I am not going o cry and hurt myself for that bastard.

She stood up and move towards her closet. She took out a black gown and changed after taking a bath .she did her makeup, bold and dark, covering the eye bags . She put on a pair of black pencil heels.
"A new version of Athena Russo incoming" she laughed.
"Now it's a real birthday" she said as she moved out of her room.

Everyone was seated at the dining.When they looked towards her and their jaw dropped.
" Athena" Ezra said slowly as she ran to hug her crying.
"Mom it's nothing now I'm fine "
"How are you " Carter asked his eyes moist .
"My princess how are you " Carson (her father) asked .
"I am fine and I'm here to inform something to you all "
Everyone stood to hear her.

"I'll be leaving tomorrow for UK . I'll stay there till I don't know when" she announced.
"What are you even saying princess " Carson said.
"I am not saying, I am telling you all . And it's my decision. And ya just forget your old Athena. She's long dead" saying this she left .

Everyone stood stunned. This was not there daughter at all . She was a cheerful and bubbly girl who used to be excited for her birthday from one month ago. She loved her family more than anything.And now she is deciding to leave them. But still they understand what she went through. So they agreed.
