Chapter 10 (Adrian)

I was leaving for my college but my father stopped me..well I'm in a good mood so let's see what he wants..

"Yes?" I asked him.
"I wanna tell you a great news!!..you know the P&S ?..they have agreed to for a meeting!!" He says with excitement.

"So wha-..wait!! P&S ? Are you kidding? Their CEO never meets.."I said shocked.

"That's the same thing I'm wondering but after my many requests they have scheduled the meeting for today evening and I think you should come too." He said.

"But why me?" I asked as I don't wanted to go but still I'm curious to meet that CEO.

"Because you should know business so that you can take over.." he said with his usual dialogue.
"Fine.." I agree as I also wanted to know the CEO.

I was on my way to school on my Lamborghini when I see beside me, is a red McLaren in full speed..ohh.. fierce..I also started speeding..but that person is indeed so skilled I ca- WHAT THE HELL!!.. isn't she Athena . I saw her when she stopped  at the crystal parking area some meters away from our school..
I think something is fishy..how does she have an expensive car?..I'll find out.. wait..why do I care?..no I don't care, I'm just curious.

I slowly drive and stop Infront of her...
"Want a ride?" I ask her .
"No thanks!" She answered..
"Come on.. it's not a problem" I say and she climb up the passenger seat.

"Do you live near here?" I ask trying to know.
She hesitates for a moment.."umm..no"
"Then why do you walk to school?" I ask.
"Morning walk.." she answers bluntly..
"Ok-" I started but she cut me.
"I don't like speaking for no reason..so please stop asking questions.." she say.. rudely I assume.

I keep my mouth shut for the whole ride..I don't know why she is so arrogant..such a brat!.

The day went smoothly other than the basketball practice..I mean how can someone play so good..she didn't even miss a single ball..not that I'm praising but I'm shocked.

I reached home and got ready for the meeting dad told. I wore my usual three piece suit.

I sat in the limousine and the driver drove off..
In less than half an hour we're here.. Infront of a luxurious 7 star restaurant.. it's interior is so unique and elegant..

We were just entering when a man comes to us.
"Sir..are you here to meet ma'am?" He asks..
Oh so the CEO is a female..
"Yes " then he guides us to a more private and luxurious VIP area..how large this restaurant is..I'm shocked.

He shows us the room. We sit on the couch as we wait for her to come..
I started scrolling through my phone..after sometime.
I hear clicking of heels..and the door opens there comes a women with mask..she has a dangerous aura.. several bodyguards are behind her..she takes off her mas-WTF!!!!...I'm definitely hallucinating..how can Athena be here..
Her eyes widened after seeing me but she covers and sit on the front queen style chair. I'm still in the shock and she starts speaking.

"So..Mr. Verlice you wanted to meet me?" She asks her voice cold and dominant..
"Yes..Nice to finally meet you..miss? Umm" my father speaks but stops as he doesn't know her name.
"Oh..Athena Russo" she says .
"I see.. myself George Verlice and he is my son Adrian Verlice he'll be taking on my company next year." he introduces us..she looks in my direction and just..nods.
"That's a good thing..so Mr. Adrian can you introduce the project your father's talking about?" She asks..
Wth..I don't even know what's the project about..
"Umm..but I've not prepared.." I say.

"Mr. Verlice I don't think your son is capable of handling a company..if he can't introduce a simple project.." she says in a disappointing tone .
How dare she point on my capability..
"Look..you have no right to judge me.." I say angrily..
"I'm not judging.. just stating the facts..well leave it.." she says shrugging her shoulders.

Dad started introducing the project..and I'm still shocked how can she be a owner of such a great company..the project's introduction completes.
"Nice efforts..but there are still some problems..but I like the concept..so I'll think about it.." she says..huh arrogant bitch!.
"Thanks for considering.." dad says and extends his hand..but she doesn't even shake hands with him and leave...
She's definitely a arrogant bitch..
I hate her even more..
I left from there and go to rock ñ rolla.
I see her here..I guess it's her routine to visit the bar..
"Care to explain?" I ask approaching her.
"Bring him to my section" she say to one of her guard and leaves..huh..does she think herself a celebrity (well she is).
I follow the guard to a very different section of the bar.. that's screaming power and wealth.
I enter the room and she's sitting Infront crossing her legs like a queen of somewhere..
"Take a seat.." she says
I sit and she comes to me..
She steps so close to me that I shiver a little.
"Dare to tell this to anyone..and you'll be be six feet under" she whispers near my ear in her danger voice and I felt goosebumps..but still manage to speak.
"And why're you hiding it?" I ask.
"That's none of your business.." she says.
"Well now it is..why are you living a cheap life when you're so rich..why the act?" I ask.
"I just want to maintain a low profile" she say casually.
"I see..but what's with the 'scholarship student'?" I ask.

"How can a poor person manage to go to a luxurious school..I needed an excuse..so that was the best." She tells.

Ok..so she's smart..

"How do you expect me to not tell anyone?" I ask smirking.
"If you will..I'll know and you'll not like what I'll do next." She says anger in her eyes..she thinks that she can control me..huh..
"Fine..I'm not telling" I say not wanting to talk further.
"Good..now you can leave.." she says..

Excuse me bitch what?..just gives me orders and throw me out..

"I have some business..so..no I'm not throwing you out.." she says..
What!!Can she read minds...
"No..I don't..I can just read face expressions very well.." she says again making me shock..
I leave and come to my house..

She's definitely a foxie..so clever..does she thinks that she can order me around..never..
