Chapter 8 (Adrian)

                   MEETING AT BAR

I got up late as..today was the weekend..so no college.

I got fresh up and came in my room when suddenly my phone's bell rang..It was my dad.
"Hello." He said from other side of the call
"Yeah..I'm here..what??" I asked him.
"Well today my one of my most important business partner is coming over for dinner..so you have to come." He told me.
"Well..why do I have to come?" I asked.
"Because soon you'll be the chairman and you should know business and stuff." He stated.
"Fine" that was all and I cut the call.

Since my mother died I have been a little distance from my dad.. because I think that the day she died dad could have saved her..But somewhere in my heart I also know he couldn't do anything that day..so whenever I meet him it's just a burst of emotions.

                FIVE YEARS AGO..

We were going on a vacation as my dad was free from his business.
We stopped on the road as dad said.
" Aren't you hungry.. let's get something to eat?" He asked both mom and me.
"I'll stay in the car..you both go and please get a pizza for me." Mom said and we nodded in agreement.

We went inside the restaurant and placed the order. As after sometime we heard a loud thud noise.
We both ran outside and the sight frightened the hell out of us..
Our car was crushed and mom was hanging on the end of road.
Dad quickly ran and grabbed her hand but it was slowly slipping..I just watched the scene with tears in my eyes..hoping that dad would get mom..but..her hand slipped..
Dad shouted." Moanaaa...." He fell on his knees and cried hard.

After 4 Hours of searching we got her body..it was unrecognisable as it was covered in blood. I was traumatized..how can this happen some hours ago we were enjoying and some hours later..this..

               FLASHBACK ENDED

And I blamed my dad..that if he would have held her hand tighter and got her up..she would be here..
I know it's not his fault but I can't help myself. He also says the same that it's his mistake.

I got ready in my three piece suit as usual..and in my car, headed towards my dad's house.

I went inside and in the living room I saw a my dad and a man with a girl in her twenties..I assume his daughter.

I sat there on couch as dad spoke.
" Mr. Vegas meet my son, Adrian. And Andrian meet Mr. Vegas, my most trustworthy business partner" he introduced us. As Mr. Vegas spoke.
" Nice to meet you child " and held his hand towards me.
I shook his hand and said "Likewise".

" Here, she's my only daughter..Esra" he introduced me to his daughter..who looked like an experiment of hundreds of plastic surgeries.
"Hii..Mr." she spoke. Ughhh . annoying voice. I just hummed in response. As I can clearly see she was seducing me.

The rest of talk was about business.
After that I called Evrin.
"Rock n rollà" I told and cut the call and walk towards my car after driving about 15 minutes I reached there as I saw a black matte Rolls Royce in the garage. It was gorgeous..I have one but matte black is a rare colour and only 5 of them are available at a year.

I walked inside and ordered basic drinks. After sometime Evrin was also here.. Drinking about 4 glasses he went towards a girl and flirted with her. This boy is never gonna behave.

I was watching him as my eyes fell on Ella and... ATHENA. What's this girl doing here..I guess she's a middle class girl..and this is a 7 star bar..how can she afford it..that day I thought I was hallucinating but.. no it's real she's again drinking a whole bottle of beer..while staring blankly at the ceiling.

Ella saw me and her expression was like she was caught stealing. Leaving Athena there she walked to me.

" He-y Adrian what's up?" She asked
" Nothing just chilling" I told blantly as soon Evrin approached us.
" OMG!!! Elly..you here.. how?" He
asked surprised.
"What do you mean by how?" She asked..
" Well, it's a 7 star bar..and ..you know what I mean" he said scratching the back of his neck..not wanting to say the word.
"Actually a person lost a bet to us..so as per the conditions..he had to give his card..so here we're spending his money" she told as I nodded in suspicion.
Athena walked towards us..
And I was shocked..after drinking a whole bottle of beer..she is fully sober and normal.
She raised her eyebrow indicating 'hii'
" Your highness..may you please speak a word otherwise I'll have to think you are mute" Evrin said playfully. I chuckled in my mind.
" I don't speak unnecessary" she spoke..OMG her deep , cold and dangerous voice.. I'm addicte- Wait..what I'm thinking.

" Finally!! We got the honor of hearing your voice..well, I must say it's fantastic!" Evrin said dramatically.
" Stfu otherwise you are never getting this honor again" Ella spoke making him shut.
As I saw them going inside the same ROLLS-ROYCE..WTF!! How can they have it.
" Well, it's also cause of bet!" Ella told nervously  and I calmed down..

We got home and drifted in a deep slumber.
