Inside the house, the kids are gifted water and food to restore their energy.
"But we're children," Rewind points out with a confused expression.
"Yes, but children of the Heroics," Missy's grandma replies. "If anyone is going to save the world, it's you, because all of you have superpowers."
"Super lame powers," Facemaker corrects.
"Speak for yourself," Lucas smirks, leaning back in his chair to look at his friend.
"Okay, Johnny Random," Facemaker replies, rolling his eyes.
"Hm..." Anita shakes her head. "This is no way to be a super team."
"Can you not speak to us like we're twelve?" Walker sighs. "I'm sorry, but it's not gonna help at all,"
She nods. "You make a point, but-"
Missy stands up, getting to the point. "Look, aliens are about to invade. We need to stop it, now."
"Are you saying we can be superheroes?"
Missy shrugs, sitting back down. "Yeah."
Acapella sings a line from Heroes, a David Bowie song, much to Walker's dismay. They quickly slap her out of it with one of their tentacles, giving her a deadpan stare.
Anita sighs. "I need you all to maximize your powers."
"Grandma," Lucas speaks up, "I've been trying to do that my whole life, so if you have any ideas, I'm all ears,"
Facemaker behind him enlarges his ears, making Lucas look stupid. Lucas, upon sensing it, turns around, finding Facemaker leaning to the side, caught red-handed. The others giggle.
"It's not about who is the strongest or the fastest," Anita continues. "It's about working together, and that's why we'll need someone to be the leader." She looks down at Missy with a smile. "Alright, follow me, quickly!"
She turns down the hallway, leading them outside to the backyard, which turned itself into a training ground.
"How much money did this cost?" Walker asks, looking down at Anita from the stair behind her.
She turns around, a finger over her lips, "Shhh"
"Lots, got it."

The next hour is filled with lots of training, focusing on their psionic energy, and physical offense and defense. Balance, agility, speed, and strength are also tested. Meanwhile, Ojo is the only one who just kind of... watches.
Missy takes Anita's place to lead her new friends, which ends up with a few casualties. Missy sits down, defeated.
Walker picks each of the kids up, helping them off their feet with their tentacles. They all mutter a thanks, awkwardly looking around at each other. Walker takes note of Ojo, sitting all alone, just kind of watching them.
As Anita returns, she sends the group back to training, joining her granddaughter in her wallows.
Walker and Lucas stand to the side, one trying to help the other with his random bursts of power.
"Focus, deep down. It's like channeling all of your emotions, like any sort of anger, or sadness, or even joy you feel in a moment. Just pull it into your soul and focus on what you want. Then release" Walker exclaims, horrors out, ready to defend themselves from any flying objects or anything that could hurt them.
Lucas closes his eyes, holding his hands out to channel his telekinesis to hold Walker in the air. Instead, a large rock is thrown at them.
They catch it, luckily, before it hits them in the face.
Lucas holds a hand over his mouth. "I'm sorry, shit,"
"You're good." they smile, tossing the rock to the side, "You'll get it, just try again. You're close!"
Lucas nods, staring at Walker, hands outstretched, attempting to use his telekinesis as he wanted again. He's able to take control over one of their tentacles instead.
"Dude," Walker smiles, "You're getting better, I just don't think you had enough pride in yourse-"
A loud whirring noise silences Walker as the two, alongside their friends, look up at the sky. Above them sits two helicopters. Wheels quickly rushes into the front yard to retrieve Anita and Missy.
"They wanna take us back to headquarters!" Facemaker informs.
"Well, too bad. We've got a world to save," Missy replies.
Anita raises her cane and points it to some tall bushes. They suddenly push themselves aside, revealing a trail.
"Go through this tunnel. I'll hold them off. "
The kids quickly rush to the bushes and slide down the hidden, very dusty, slide into an underground hallway of sorts.
"It sure is dark in here," Guppy mutters, looking up at all the older kids.
Lamps with burning flamez dimly light the hall with a warm glow.
"Ojo, can I use your flashlight?" Missy asks the artist, receiving a nod. "We just have to stick together," She whispers with a sigh, leading them down the tunnel.
"We also need to find a way onto the mother ship and defeat the aliens who took the Heroics hostage," Lucas informs, his left arm slung over Walker's shoulders.
"You're walking so slow," Walker mumbles, grabbing his phone to use his flashlight to walk ahead of Missy.
He and Lucas continue down the tunnel, a safe space away from the others to be able to warn them about any potential surprise threats.
"Do you guys not have phones or something?" Walker asks.
Lucas chuckles. "We do, but they're taken from us when we go to do our superhero homeschool or whatever. We don't get them back until lunch, then we give them back after, then we go back home with them, " He explains. "Kinda surprised they didn't take yours. Ojo still has her iPad because it's her power and her only communicative device. "
Walker shrugs, continuing forward.
Missy behind them discovers more of Ojo's future telling drawings, and as they reach the exit, she pulls Walker and Lucas to the side.
"The plan is we're gonna sneak on a bus?" Lucas questions.
Walker peers over their shoulders, getting a look at the drawings. She whispers among them, informing them of the little plan, which was being kept a secret from the others. Lucas slides to the next picture, eyes slightly widening.
"Holy shit!"
Acapella looks at him with a look, glancing down at Guppy. "Language!"
Guppy rolls her eyes, not having a care for the world about what delicate language the teenagers decided to use.
"I mean, yes, very interesting." Lucas fake smiles, turning back to Missy and Walker. Missy hands him the iPad, allowing him to explain it. "Okay, we found out a plan. Ojo drew us a clue, a supply ship. "
The others silently thank Ojo for the clue.
"So what does that mean?" Acapella asks.
"It means there's probably one nearby," Missy answers, taking the iPad back.
Lucas continues, "We'll sneak on board and pilot up to the mothership."
"That's actually a good idea," Wheels speaks, "No matter who thought of it." He glances between the three, doubting Lucas had anything to do with it.
Walker begins to stroll away, keeping themselves aware of their surroundings. "Alright, let's go beat some alien ass,"
"Language!"
