Hen Island,

Fort Tonyo Rear

Nobu: (The enemy troops march to Akira Fort's rear. The ground is shaking from the number of men heading to Akira men.) Moving so confidently.

Delphine: the numbers would have evened out the battle.

Nobu: As long as they think the rear is weak, we'll have the advantage. (showing that the army is setting up their formation and looking strong) In that formation?

Delphine: (looking at the formation closely) They're trying to push us back to the fort using the Earth elemental on the front, six rows of 16x8. Water elemental holding the body, three rows of 14x10.

Nobu: Forcing us to take the battle to the front lines.

Delphine: Why so many?

Nobu: Intimidation. (looking at the small numbers compared to the enemy numbers) since Lord Akira made his rear strong, they think our men will panic and run back to tell our commander about their numbers.

Delphine: (look at Nobu) Why are you here?

Nobu: If I answer your question, will this stop?

Delphine: depending on your answer.

Nobu: we have a little time to spare with the enemy setting up. (turn to Delphine) I'm not from Nagi, Sito, or even Honda.

Delphine: Foreigner?

Nobu: you can say that. An Island to the Southeast of Honda is where I come from, Delphine.

Delphine: The Gray Void?

Nobu: That's what you call it? It's called DayDay Island.

Delphine: Akira's Grandfather went there before, but no one was found on that island. It was like the island was split in half by something.

Nobu: The Gray Void you're referring to is where my people live. I'm the only one who crossed the Gray Void, Alive. My people wonder about the other side as well.

Delphine: You're from the Gray Void?

Nobu: yes. I know you don't believe me.

Delphine: (look at the battlefield) if we win this battle...then I'm willing to hear you out.

Nobu: That is the most passive thing you said to me.

Delphine: You told me little about yourself, and I didn't return the favor.

Nobu: (thinking to himself) Best not to ask. (The enemy finished their formation) Took them this long?

Delphine: Their soldiers are not well-disciplined.

Nobu: More like they're tired. It would have taken their army to move through the day and set up camp at night, to move again without rest.

Delphine: Another mistake?

Nobu: They're rushing because the battle here would be effortless. They can't move in the open without us finding out and taking the ships and leaving.

Delphine: If they would have kept the battle at the front, we'll be on the island a little longer.

Nobu: Moving them all in one day without a break. Now it was all up to us to call their bluff on moving to attack our rear.

Delphine: Even if they were to rest, we would have found them by now. My god...

Nobu: Yup. No matter where they place the troops, we'll be able to see their movements. Hen island was known for turning defense into offense.
