Storm clouds rolled into the town of Luna early morning. The sky was dark and the clouds grew thicker before it started to rain hard. The wind slams against the windows and doors of all of Luna hard.
Many people took shelter in their homes and the only sign of life was the church bells ringing throughout the hours of the day.
Alex was sitting in his study next to the fireplace. He had a book on his lap and a cup in his hand as he sipped out of it. Across the room sat Lars as he picked at his feathers
" you're never this to yourself Lars. " Alex sighs and wanted to ignore the bird as much as he could but it was eating at him. He had questions and he wanted to know why Lars was acting off " do you know what happened to Will last night? "
" a bird can't stay to itself?? " Lars flaps his large wings before settling them down. He looked out the window letting out a small chirp " I think everyone in this house knows what Will did last night."
" and everyone including you will stay silent about it " Alex placed his cup down and flips the page of his book. It was the Bible of course..... at times like these he needed the help of God " did you do that to him? Make him try to kill James "
" you think so little of me Alex! Why would I waste my time on an old priest like James? Will is something I like but his not what I play around with " Lars flys over to the desk and lands near the window
" yeah, you like playing around with me " Alex knew this bird was no good yet here he was still keeping it around. Would God be disappointed in him? Or did God even care at all about any of this? " the storm outside isn't normal.... whos doing is it? It was like that storm that hit a few years ago when I was a child. That storm took everything away from me....from Luna... from us all "
" you assume right~ it's not a normal storm... it's a punishment from the golds~ one of them is using their powers to punish us for whatever crimes you reds committed " Lars ruffled his feathers a little " but this storm is the least of your worries " he said before a loud knock came from the front door all the way downstairs.
Alex stood up fast from his seat and grabbed the Bible before it fell. He placed it down on the table and glared at Lars but all Lars did was ruffle his feathers even more before he fell asleep. " stupid bird " Alex goes to his door and opens it before walking out into the hall " Freddie!? Who is at the door? " He shouted loud enough for Freddie to hear downstairs but he got no answer " Freddie!? "
Alex groans and goes down the stairs slowly as thunder strike outside. The house creaked with each step and vibrated with each thunderstrike. Alex finally got to the end of the stairs and steps down to hear a knock at the door yet again " Freddie? " He calls out again yet no answer. He frowns softly and reached for the door before he opens it fully
Outside stood a tall man with short gray hair and hazel eyes. He was dressed in a nice suit and behind him was Freddie holding an umbrella above the man.
" ....father " Alex croaked out softly and his eyes glanced at Freddie who didn't give away anything she thought. " father, why are you here? And especially at a time like this? The storm grows worse by the hour. " yes, this was his father also known to many others as the king of the reds and on the battlefield he was known as the 'Red Tyrent ' known to have no mercy on the battlefield for no one.
Alex looked at his father's still youthful face. It was like this man didn't age a day past 30 the only thing showing age was his hair and even then it looked more natural then anything
" are you going to stand there like that all day? Or are you going to let me inside? It's rather horrible out right now " his deep rich voice slammed into Alex hard and knocked him out of his train of thought
