IT'S BARELY BEEN A DAY AND CHAOS HAS ALREADY BEGUN. we made it outside the venue and i lightly rub kitty's back in comfort.
"dae, i don't want to talk to you. please just leave me-" we turned around and to our surprise, it wasn't dae. he didn't even bother to follow after her! oh someone hold me back before i become violent.
the footsteps seemed to belong to a stranger with glasses. he looked at us just as confused, "sorry. i'm just looking for the loo." he slurred with a noticeable accent.
'so many people with accents...'
he starts to walk towards us and spoke again, "i'm alex finnerty from melbourne, australia. i'm a new teacher here this year." he introduced himself out of nowhere.
"why are you not dae?" kitty questions both him and herself.
"you mean the guy you don't want to walk to?" he gestures back to the venue. I sigh.
"are you alright? can i get you anything?" he asks concerned.
"no we're fine, thanks." i spoke as kitty started to get away from the man.
