Percy placed the ripped plushie on the table. He then snatched a stack of napkins and put them next to the plush. He grabbed the napkin from the top of the stack and spread it out on the other side of the plush. Once it was all spread out, he ripped it in the middle, splitting it into two pieces. He did this to a few more napkins and then piled the halves of the thin and rough paper.

The process was simulating. The cold air from the vent was colder than usual. Percy shuddered. He did this because there wasn't much else to do in the room that was entertaining enough for Percy. The only thing that was even remotely enough was the weird Pal Percy.

It was the same color as the regular Pal Percy, but it had different symbols on the buttons and played various games. The main thing different about it was the shape. It was more square-like, unlike the other Pal Percy's were more circular. There was a different Poodle as well, it was female-like. It had a large fur tuff on its head, and its ears were hairless until both of its ends had another large fluff. Two dark gray poles were holding up cartoonish eyes. Percy found it in a box on the top shelf of the left rack in a box.

Percy played with it for an hour and a half or so and then stopped because he felt the feeling of uncomfortable. He put it back in the box he pulled out, and then looked around for anything else. He found nothing.

So, He spent a few more minutes ripping napkins in half and doing it all over again. He finally stopped when the pieces of napkins were nothing but strips of rough paper. Percy checked around the shelves for a while for anything entertaining, but still, nothing. He sighed.

He grabbed the plush and sat down and then noticed the carts near the door. They looked familiar to the cart that nearly dragged away his collar, which caused Percy to feel a few jets of anger rise in his chest. The cart had yellow-colored parts to it, with smaller wheels than the other one. There were two of them on each side of the right and left walls.

Man, have I really missed the things in here that may have been the most entertaining thing in here? Percy thought. The carts weren't that entertaining, but they could have some use for fun. Percy walked up it the right one.

He pulled it out of its hiding place and looked around the leaves of the cart, in an attempt to find something. Nothing. He walked over to the other one and did the same thing, but still found nothing. He kicked the left one but ended up realizing that the carts were as tough as the metal doors leading to the circus, and bruising his foot. He winced and stepped back, holding his foot and banging himself into the shelf. His mechanical foot parts and bones screamed in pain, feeling the pain reach out to his leg.

He looked up, with the cold air making the pain worse, and then was he startled by the sudden knocking. He immediately ran and grabbed the plush, limping, and ducking under the table.

What if John knows I'm here? Percy thought. He sat under the table, expecting the knocking to continue, but there was only silence. Percy relaxed his shoulders. The lights flickered, and Percy noticed that there was no cold air blasting through the little vent in the wall.

The knocking appeared again.

Percy focused on the square window on the door, with the sound of banging on the door echoing the room. It was Charlie outside, with Marylin and Felix on his left.

" Percy? Can you hear me?" Charlie asked, muffed from Percy's perceptive. Percy was honestly not expecting his friends to be here, since time for him as gone so fast. Percy paused until Charlie tried opening the door with the knob, this time more violently.

"Yeah, I'm here," Percy replied, still wanting to be alone. He held the plushie close to his chest. Its presence made Percy feel better. " Is there something you need me for?"
