"Thank you so much, Kania, for your advice," they say in their final remarks upon learning that Oscar de la Renta is hiring new employees. Their dream of joining Oscar de la Renta is now closer than ever, even though they have to let go of becoming employees at Our Daily Edit. They are not wasting this opportunity to chase their dreams in New York.

At Monica's home, surrounded by lush trees, she is currently feeling confused and anxious, worrying about everything, especially preparing her documents. She is in a hurry because Oscar de la Renta is hiring new employees, albeit with limited spots. Ready or not, capable or not, she must go through this path.

"Monica, have you prepared everything?" Sandra asks loudly. "Don't worry about it."

"Yes, of course, I have prepared thoroughly. I'm just... a little uncomfortable," her expression cannot hide her unease.

In reality, both of them are very nervous yet excited at the same time. How could they not be, as they have to prepare their portfolios and mentally prepare themselves to go to New York City?

"To be honest, I'm also feeling sad, confused, and anxious about whether I'll be accepted at Oscar de la Renta," Monica reflects.

"You've prepared everything you need, so what else? Don't act like a high schooler, Sandra. We're going to work, you know this, right? Please don't make me anxious too," Monica thinks Sandra isn't mentally prepared for this.

"Forgive me for my attitude; I'm confident I can get through this. Please support me!" Sandra's lips curve upwards.

"Of course, friend, we can get through this together. Alright, go home and take care," Monica says with a smile.

"Yeah, I know. See you later!" Sandra slowly closes the door.

"Hey! Wait... don't forget to brush your teeth," Monica laughs behind the door. "Darn you, I know already! I'm grown up! Bye," she says, humming to herself.

The sun pierces through the earth, birds fluttering about, heralding the start of a new day. Its rays cannot dampen the spirits of these two women who have worked tirelessly to reach their dreams. "Oscar de la Renta has opened new recruitment. You should try to apply because it's limited," Kania's words echo persistently in their minds, though few know Mrs. Lani is a tough, intimidating figure.

Warm tea and peanut butter toast grace Monica's morning, her laptop on the table amidst scattered files, resembling a ransacked room. Meanwhile, Sandra, much like her close friend, savors an omelette and orange juice, laptop before her face. They both navigate Oscar de la Renta's official website to submit their portfolios, CVs, and everything else required. With unyielding determination, they carefully send off their portfolios, their faces serious.

"Alright... let's see. Here's the CV, essay, work experience history, passport photo, home address, personality test, health test, certificates... looks like everything's ready to send," Monica remarks, munching on her toast and pressing buttons on her laptop.

She picks up her phone to call Sandra. "Have you prepared your documents? Sleeping beauty," she teases. A few seconds later, Sandra answers, yawning, "Yes... I'm having breakfast. I've been preparing all night for this, boss," noticeable dark circles under her eyes betraying her lack of sleep.

Chuckling, Monica replies, "Alright, I understand. Double-check your files thoroughly, don't want to miss anything."

"Okay, I won't forget a single thing," Sandra says, taking a sip of orange juice. "Alright, together let's click this hopeful button, Sandra," Monica dramatizes.

"Yes, my friend, get ready. May God bless us," Sandra confidently says before ending the call with Monica.

The anticipation of stepping foot in New York grows stronger. How could it not? They've envisioned what it would be like to work at Oscar de la Renta, imagining the beauty of a city like New York swelling their hearts.
