Sandra and Monica have passed the seventh semester with many accomplishments, including the final exam of the course, which they successfully pass with satisfactory results. Now, they face their eighth and final semester. One day in April, they plan to have lunch together. Monica texts Sandra to meet her at the café where they usually meet. Now, Sandra arrives right in front of the entrance of the café.
Sandra walks towards the place where she is going to meet her best friend, Monica. She strolls casually into a classic café located on the campus where they study. She is meeting Monica at lunchtime today to discuss their final semester project. The bell chimes as the door opens, and the fragrant aroma of coffee hits her senses as Sandra enters.
“Hey, Sandra!” Monica greets her cheerfully upon seeing her. Sandra waves upon spotting Monica enjoying a cup of coffee.
“Do you want me to order you a coffee, too, Sandra?” Monica asks mischievously.
“Oh, come on. You know I don’t like caffeine. It’s bad for your health.” Sandra knows her friend is just teasing her.
“I’m just kidding. You can order something else. It’s on me.” Monica laughs. They have spent years getting to know each other, making it impossible for Monica not to know what Sandra likes and dislikes.
Sandra sighs and nods, then opens the menu placed on the table. While waiting for their orders, they start discussing their final semester project.
“I hear our final project will be an exhibition to showcase the designs of final-year students. What do you think?” Monica says, leaning her chin on her hand.
“Sounds interesting.” Monica’s response makes Sandra frown. “Your answer doesn’t sound serious, Monica.”
“It’s just a final project, Sandra. What are you so worried about?” Monica laughs. Sandra is very familiar with Monica’s overconfidence and can only sigh in response.
“Besides, we’ve been studying for almost seven semesters now. That should be enough preparation for the final semester.” Monica’s words are meant to reassure her friend.
Sandra thinks it isn’t the time to relax since she is used to meticulously preparing everything. She can’t help but worry about their future.
“But Monica,” Sandra begins, but Monica cuts her off.
“Relax, Sandra. You’re overthinking. We’ll face all this together.” Monica speaks with a calming tone. Monica’s words reassure Sandra, and they both feel more confident about facing whatever lays ahead.
In their final semester at the London College of Fashion, Sandra and Monica have a significant project: each has to create one design model as part of their final assignment. This might seem easy for the two ambitious friends, who are confident they can complete the project that will pave the way to their dreamed future.
