How To Get Followers
Before you start writing your book you need to stock up on followers. That seemed inconsiderate, didn't it? But that's the truth. You want people to read it? You need followers! Plus it's fun. You can talk to them anytime and all of that bonus.
This is what you need do. You need to go on a following spree. Pick a person, any account on Wattpad, who just started on Wattpad and is following lots of people. Don't go to their "Following" section. No, go to their "Followers". If they just started on Wattpad and these awesome people followed them back quickly then they're likely to do the same for you.
In your Following Spree make sure to follow no less that 70 people. The more the better. So now that you followed, what?
Wait.
Wait at least 3 days. Then after the dust settles, everyone who intended to follow you back would have done so already.
Now is time for the unfollows. WARNING: Do not, absolutely under no circumstances unfollow your followers. That's a sh*tty move to do. If you get famous and people follow you by themselves that's fine. But following someone and when they follow back, unfollowing? Smh.
So after 3 or 4 days this is what you do. You open two tabs, both on Wattpad. In one tab click on "Followers" and in the other "Following". This next step seems complicated but I promise it's not. On your followers tab, click these following keys on your computer. Ctrl and while holding that the letter F. This allows you to search for any keyword on that page.
So you go to your "Following" page and just look at the name of one of the accounts. On the other tab you go on the search of Ctrl and F and search the beginning of their name there. If nothing is highlighted then that person didn't follow you back. So time to hit that unfollow button!
I know it seems like labor but it takes a couple of seconds for each search!
