I got off the bed and approached Valentin barefoot.
He leaves the room and goes down the stairs, I follow him.
My bare feet feel the cold of the tiles. Valentin gets busy as soon as he enters the kitchen so I do the same. He takes care of toasting bread and I take out orange juice, Nutella, butter, jam, spoon everything you need. Ten minutes later and Kiara arrives.
We all sit around the table and eat, discussing everything and nothing in a happy and good mood.
Once finished I help Valentin and Kiara cleared the table and cleaned it. Once finished Kiara exclaims:
-I'm the one who's going to wash first.
And without even letting us answer, she rushes up the stairs and locks herself in the bathroom.
I slouch on the sofa and Valentin suggests:
-Want to play something on the TV while we wait for our turn in the bathroom?
-Yes go ahead
-What do you want to play? it has a car racing game.
-No seriously, it's a racing game.
-Yes
-Come on, I'm keen to play it
-So here we go.
He starts the game then sits down next to me, handing me a controller.
The game is played with fun. I'm enjoying this time I'm spending with him.
We finished our ninth race when Kiara appeared in our field of vision.
When Valentin notices her, he puts down his controller and exclaims in annoyance:
-Mei is too strong, she beat me seven times.
Kiara turns to me with a smile on her lips.
-I love you Mei, you managed to beat my brother in the time I've been waiting.
I burst out laughing and replied:
-It wasn't complicated.
I add :
-Valentin, do you want to go wash before me or can I use the bathroom?
-No go ahead you can take it I will wash afterwards
