You? Sun Hashira? More like Chef Hashira-

Ahem, I'll get straight to the point.

I'm writing this short glossary during my last week of summer vacation, i won't be posting anymore cause 1. School and 2. I'm waiting for this book to gain more readers

(To be honest, I'm waiting for real readers that vote and will comment. It's the reason that motivates us writers to keep on going, if our book lacks that, we will drop it.)

Malevolent Kitchen will show food that have mentioned and will be mentioned in this book. It will also show some snippets between the characters connected to the food being mentioned.

Part one will mainly contain food from my country- but anyways, have fun reading!

Zongzi:
A Chinese sticky rice dumpling wrapped tightly in bamboo leaves. Northern style zongzi is sweet while Southern style is savory/salty. Mitsuri prefers the sweet version more.

Reader noticed that the noblemen or her upperclass customers prefer the sweet version because it's a desert after a tiring day. The commoners prefer the salty version since it's a substitute to their regular onigiri but more "savory".

Tangyuan or Yuanxiao:
Chinese glutinous rice balls that are similar to mochi but it's smaller and served in hot broth or syrup. Just like Zongzi, it's also divided by sweet and savory. But Reader cooks Tangyuan with sweet fillings like red bean paste and black sesame. And sometimes shape it into animals like cats.

Due to the high cost of making Tangyuan and the box that protects it, reader only makes Tangyuan during winter (december) and lantern festival (febuary).

This is Nezuko's favorite dessert that reader makes. Reader has more sales on Tangyuan during the lantern festival when she was in China. While she had more sales of the dessert on winter season during her stay on Japan (currently).

Sanemi LOVES Tangyuan that he keeps one bowl of it in the refrigerator and eats each small tangyuan everyday since you rarely make it. During the winter season and lantern festival, Sanemi will make sure to hoard the entire stock.
