Taisho Settings: Location Glossary #1

Taisho settings will mention the locations in this fanfic (that aren't mentioned in the manga and only in this fanfic).

Some are inspired by irl places, so I'll mention them in the short descriptions of each location shown.

Komorebi Teahouse:

The most successful teahouse in the entertainment district, that offers not only tea but also pleasure.

It is said that even the wealthy who are busy in their everyday lives visit this teahouse at night to taste their delicacies and tea ranging from local to international varieties. This establishment is packed with many customers every night, but the number multiplies when autumn and winter comes. Especially the lantern festival which is in febuary.

This five hundred year old establishment prospered due to the popular informant in the front desk, Yichen Wei. Who's silver tongue can tempt any customer, both commoners and the filthy rich to empty their wallets and pockets.

This teahouse is also known for the main hub of kagemas or male courtesans, the most talented and famous kagemas lived under the teahouse's roof while being trained by Yichen. His most successful apprentice is Ren.

It is said that this teahouse had a dark history. However, the eccentric and chatty informant shrugs it off, saying myths will remain as myths. But there is more than what meets the eye.
