Semi walked up the small set of stairs, leading to the main stage. He waved at the audience enthusiastically. He reached the centre of the stage and adjusted the microphone stand to his height. The singer before him was pretty tall. The venue buzzed with anticipation, waiting for Semi to speak.
"Ya know my new upcoming album. 'Whispers of the first light'? I am going to sing a pre-release song. This is for...my first love in High School. It was really a one-sided relationship, but I am still in love with him, no matter the conditions."
He took a deep breath and started playing the notes on his guitar for the introduction. The first note resonated through the venue, weaving a spell that drew everyone deeper into the performance. Each of the lyrics had deeper meaning than the previous. Semi started getting into it and sung his heart out.

As he sung the song, he looked at each person that was in the venue. There was a faint light at the back, but it was enough to see what the people look like. Semi saw someone familiar. He started squinting his eyes to get a better look. Hideous bangs, sandy-coloured hair, hazel eyes...SHIRABU!
Semi sung his heart out even more while making eye contact with Shirabu. Shirabu didn't notice as he was looking at Semi's guitar...Shirabu was never interested in instruments. Wait, is he looking at the purple guitar pick? Was he 'The Beach'?
Some people distracted Semi. Tendo and Goshiki. They were the loudest in the venue. Semi tried not to care about them and only gaze at Shirabu.
Shirabu finally looked up and made eye contact with Semi. He noticed Semi was staring at him the whole time. He looked down again, this time, flustered. Semi could see that red head from two kilometres away. He smiled and continued singing and playing.
Meanwhile with Lilith. She was envious of the Shirabu and Semi interaction. She decided to come up with a devious plan that will make Semi be her boyfriend.
