Did Lena Sanchez have a crush on Kendall Knight? Yes, yes she did.

Was she going to tell him? No, no she wasn't.

It had only been a week since the boys almost completely destroyed Gustavo's mansion, and in that time Kendall had been spending a lot of time with the newest girl at the Palm Woods, and that was Jo Taylor.

Lena felt like he liked the blonde haired girl, and if that was the case, then Lena would be happy for Kendall, but also disappointed. But she didn't want to get in the way of their growing relationship.

The Sanchez girl had grown up with the saying 'it is what it is'. It was a saying her mom used 98% of the time, and it always followed with the idea that no matter what happens, it's not the end of the world and things will get better and life will move on. Amelia Sanchez was a very open-minded person, she believed that if something was really meant to happen, it would. And if it doesn't, then it's just not meant to be, but that doesn't mean you don't try. And she taught Lena that very thing.

If Lena and Kendall were meant to be together, she'd be perfectly fine with that. But if Kendall and Jo were meant to be, she'd also be fine with that.

There was a knock at the door of Lena's apartment. The brunette walked over to the door and opened it to see Kendall standing there with a massive smile. "I have great news." He said happily and Lena nodded hesitantly

"I'm scared." She sighed as she let him walk into her apartment.

"I managed to convince Gustavo to let you sing for him." Kendall smiled and Lena's eyes widened.

"You did what?!" She asked in shock.

"He said if you're really good, which I'm sure you will be, then he'll talk to Griffin about Rocque Records signing you!" Kendall exclaimed and Lena's froze for a moment.

Since her talk with Kendall the night he got her to play a song in front of him, she had gotten back into the habit of playing her guitar everyday, and she even wrote a song.

It did take her a month. But it was a song nonetheless.

But she didn't feel like she was ready to go back into the business, but at the same time she wanted too. Maybe this was her chance.

She couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face but she had no idea what to say, so she just wrapped her arms around Kendall's torso. Kendall was taken aback at first as he wasn't expecting this kind of reaction, but he hugged back with no hesitation.

"Thank you." Lena smiled brightly and Kendall returned the smile.

Maybe this was the time Lena Sanchez would come back to the music industry. Maybe it was meant to be.

Later that day, Lena walked out to the lobby, only to see Kendall struggling to walk because of all the stuff he was carrying, which included a pool lounge chair, dog bed, and a bunch of pool noodles. She looked at him confused but then ran over to him as he tripped and fell on his knees.

"Hey, are you ok?" She asked and he shook his head rapidly and out of breath.

Logan, Carlos and James then ran over to Kendall. "Hey big guy, you're doing a great job." Logan said as he and Carlos helped him up.
