15. NEVER FOREVER

In the hush of the night, faint memories stir,
Of a friendship once vibrant, now a faint whisper.
We laughed and we shared, in those unnecessary conversations,
Created moments we thought would last forever.

But time, like a river, flowed swiftly and unnoticed,
And what once blossomed brightly now feels distant and unseen.
Days when we spoke freely, now silence reigns,
And leaves behind the echo of laughter that lingers softly.

In the start, I believed in an endless bond,
That we would always answer through thick and thin.
Yet now, in the quiet of lonely nights,
Your absence cuts deep with its silent bites.

Oh, how quickly dreams of eternity can fade,
Leaving heartache and longing in their cruel parade.
Every cherished moment is now a bittersweet ache,
As I reflect on the love that took my time.

They say every bond is destined to change,
Yet the ache of a lost friendship feels so strange.
Tears falling gently bring back memories,
Of a friendship now lost in the ebb of dismay.

But in this melancholy, I find a trace,
Of lessons I have learned in this lonely room.
To cherish each moment, to hold dear and true,
For friendships change color like the seasons.

So I carry these memories, even when they cause me pain,
Because I know they have shaped me through sunshine and rain.
For even in endings, there's beauty to find,
In the tapestry of life, woven with love intertwined.
