'Him again'

Sturniolo's house, Boston                                                                                                                                       After 2 hours they finally arrive at Jimmy's house. Noa feels tired and really wants to sleep. She hasn't slept for a long time because of jet lag. And the last thing she wants now is seeing Matt. She is excited, but also scared of his reaction. It's not like she "left" in a good way. They weren't dating or something, but there was definitely something going on, even though they said they were best friends.

They walk into the house and immediately walk into the kitchen. The first one she sees is Nick. He gives a big smile and immediately walks to her. "Omg Nox, how are you, it's been such a long time!" Noa didn't expect that kind of reaction, but she is relieved. At least one of them was happy to see her. "I'm great!" Noa says. Nick gives Noa a hug and wants to ask a bunch of other questions, but then Matt and Chris walk in.

"NOX!" Chris yells immediately, like he can't believe that Noa is actually standing in the same kitchen he is standing in. He gives Noa a hug and is having a big smile on his face. Unlike Matt, who just gives a dead stare.

Noa decides to just ignore Matt, even though it hurts. But besides that she was happy that Chris and Nick were just happy to see her, which made her feel a lot more comfortable about the fact that she has to stay 2 weeks in here.

After a lot of talking about the flight and stuff with Noa, Nick, Chris and the parents, Matt didn't say anything (not even hi), Nick and Chris decide to show Noa the room she will be staying in.

"Are you guys mad?" Noa asks, while in the guestroom. "No of course not", Chris starts. "Like in the beginning we were a little confused, but later Nick and I understood there was something going on." "Yeah" Nick follows, "We wanted to call you, but we thought that you wouldn't like it." Noa agrees, she's happy that Nick and Chris understood there was something going on.

"And Matt?" She is most worried about that. "I wouldn't say he's mad", Chris starts, "I just think he is a little confused and everything and probably hurt you didn't say something." "Yeah, we've tried to convince him that you probably had a good reason, but he didn't want to listen." Nick finishes. "Yeah, I understood, I really wanted to say something, I just couldn't." Noa says, feeling really bad. "Don't worry, he'll get over it." Nick says, sitting next to her and putting an arm around her shoulders. "Yeah, I hope so."

After Nick and Chris left, Noa calls Loïs, as promised. They talk for a bit and Noa explains everything that happened. Right after she hung up, she gets a text from Alec

Nox🎤: Chris and Nick acted super normal and were super happy to see me. 

Matt didn't even look at me.
