Xia's POV

"Xiana!! Get down here!" I heard my mother yell from downstairs. I carefully got up off of my soft bed and stepped down onto the grey carpet under my feet. What now.. I thought, dragging my lazy self out of my room to the top of the stairs. "Yeah, Mum?" I called out, there was no answer. Damn, this woman has selective hearing.. I took myself downstairs and saw my mother with two people I didn't know. Mum brings people down all the time, so I didn't think much of it. "Yes Ma?" I said, I must have been speaking with a bit of an attitude, because the two people shared a disapproving look.

"You're leaving. Now. Go pack your things." My mother said coldly, unhesitatingly. Almost like she couldn't care less about the fact that she was literally giving her daughter up. I looked terrified and I felt it too, my own mother was giving me up? I was probably panicking because I woke up again in a strange dorm room. I can't remember anything before I woke up..

There was a boy in my room, he was staring at me. He was a blond boy with a darker skin colour. Not gonna lie, he was quite cute. "Hiya." The boy said, still staring at me. I waved nervously. I didn't even know his name and I already had a crush on him. "So what's your power?" He asked expectingly, obviously waiting for me to speak. "Power?" I asked, my confusion must've been visible because the boy chuckled. "You don't know?"

Shelly here, I'm leaving this chapter on a cliff hanger so I don't give away the whole cast in one chapter, there's 7 Characters, the Boy's chapter is coming up next.
