Item #: Subject-011

Object Class: Delta

Type: Amphibian, Bipedal Dinosauria

Threat level: Low

Procedures for Containment: Anomaly-011 currently stored in a lead-lined 50-meter-by-50-meter large animal enclosure simulating an environment similar to the papyrus filled swamps around central Sudan's many Lakes. The temperature must remain between 60 to 75 degrees Celsius by day, and between 45 and 55 degrees Celsius by night; this serves the main purpose of ensuring that Anomaly-011's overall behavior remains stable.

Vegetation within the enclosure is to be maintained on a weekly basis, as to also ensure that Anomaly-011's overall behavior remains stable. Thankfully, Anomaly-011 does not require any physically nutrition as it has shown to photosynthesize. So weekly maintenance is the only caveat for those involved with the studies of Anomaly-011.

Description: Anomaly-011 as an Allosauru-like creature with a short tapering neck with yellowish brown pigmentation. The Anomalous attribute of Anomaly-011 would have to be the series of bristling, tentacle-like appendages, which protrude from the animal's muzzle and aid it in snaring attackers, at is was tested to reveal a venomous bite. The toxin of the venom only activates when the victim comes in contact with water, to where the victim; designated as Anomaly-011-1, will we become paralyzed from the neck down for a weighted period of five hours.

Addendum #011-1: Sighting Logs

The fist know encounter of Anomaly-011 came in 1914, when a group of Shilluk aborigines reportedly killed a specimen of this creature in the swamps of Addar in order to use its bones to create a menagerie of protective amulets. Sadly this unique beast's corpse was never recovered by any legitimate scientific body.

Four years later a 12-foot instance of Anomaly-011 was allegedly seen in Bahr el Zeraf (which forms in the southern Sudd wetlands as an arm of the White Nile) and in 1918 lough gurgling sounds were also reported coming from the region. There is even the account of an anonymous civil servant from the then Belgian Colonial Administration who allegedly reported that he had taken a shot at the Anomaly, but had thankfully missed. Our retrieval unit was dispatched, but nothing was found.

Six years later in 1924, an aborigine named [DATA-EXPUNGED] reportedly gave a British Petty Officer named [DATA-EXPUNGED] a sample of a vertebra said to be from a dead instance of Anomaly-011. This was at the request of Uganda's Provincial Governor, Sir Frederick Jackson, who was renowned for his penchant for discovering various new species. However, the investigation of this report was quickly closed, when it was discovered that the aborigine had substituted the supposed bone fragments of Anomaly-011 for that of another animal, in order to keep the coveted talisman for himself.

Finally, in 1937, shortly after William Hichens published a photo of a wooden effigy of what is believed to be Anomaly-011's head. A instance was found stuck within a large fishnet off the side of the White Nile.

Addendum #011-1: Recovery Log

After years of research of looking into this entity, it was finally recovered and was able to be taken to Site-[DATA-EXPUNGED] via animal transporter helicopter, under the alibi of a search and rescue mission of a sick hippopotamus. Simple cover story, yet efficient.
