Kierra's POV
It was cold outside, the school was surrounded by fog. A cold breeze can be felt when a strong wind blows from the window.
Thursday, time for Literary Criticism again.
We're in the middle of a discussion, and here I am, smiling, laughing, and enjoying every minute of this class.
The person I was dreaming of stood confidently in the center of the room, exuding a sense of understated elegance.
Having a subtle glimpse of Sir Mike gave me butterflies in my stomach, this man is so fine.
He's wearing a rich, chocolate brown top that hugged his form, the color complementing his warm complexion. The top's fabric shimmered subtly under the light, suggesting a luxurious texture.
Below, Sir Mike is wearing an impeccably tailored black slacks that elongated his legs, the sharp creases adding to the overall polished look.
Over his shoulders was draped a sleek black coat, its structured silhouette enhancing his poised stance. The coat's lapels framed his face, and the dark hue added a touch of mystery and sophistication to his ensemble.
With each movement, the outfit conveyed a perfect blend of professionalism and effortless style.
There was a hint of excitement in my eyes when his orb met mine. From where I was sitting, the light illuminated his eyes making it sparkle even more.
Day dreaming, that's what I was doing when someone ruined it and knocked on the door.
"Yes, dear?" Sir Mike ask to the person outside.
"Good Morning, Sir Mike!" I sigh after hearing the voice, he really is ruining my day.
"Yes, good morning Josh," Sir Mike gazes my direction faintly.
"May I excuse Jul-- I mean may I excuse Kierra, Sir?" Joshua looked at me playfully. I rolled my eyes and stood up.
"Why?" Sir Mike asks and I stopped in my tracks, Sir Mike coughed a little and looked at me "Kierra, Joshua is looking for you" he slightly move and turned his back from us, "back to our discussion, okay class..."
His voice delicately fade when Josh closed the door a little.
"What?"
"Hey, Kierra," Joshua greeted.
I raised an eyebrow, curiosity mixed with confusion. "What do you want?"
"I was wondering if... if you'd like to go out this weekend?" Joshua said, excitement creeping into his voice. "Remember? you want to go mountain hike,"
My eyes widen, Joshua's request is unexpected.
"Uh, Josh, that's... really nice, but...--"
"I just remembered our plan last semester and we didn't make it because of our pending acts and busy schedule."
Yes, he's right. I can still also remember the time when we planned to go Mountain Hike, to Baguio, and even in La Union to have some beach break.
But that was long time ago when gossip spread that I liked him and we had a relationship because of our closeness.
My confusion deepens. My thoughts stray to Professor Mike, and I can't help but wonder if Joshua senses something.
"Yeah, I know we have a plan but, do you really have to ask me in the middle of our class?"
Josh's lips twitched into a small, teasing smile as he leaned back against the wall "What better time than now? You know I like to keep things... interesting."
