-Chapter 5 pt 2- Kenma gets hurt?!

(Kinda angst but not too much.... Ok well more like Kenma gets sad and overthinks and Kuroo comforts him but whatever same thing)

It's been 3 hours since they arrived at the hospital, and they still were in the waiting room. Kuroo was getting irritated because there making them wait this long and Kenma ankle started hurting again but still had to wait for more medicine. "Ken-ken, baby, are you ok?" Kuroo caressed Kenma's cheek "K-kind of" he said still choking back sobs "Hey, it's ok baby try sleeping?" Kenma nods, Kenma is sitting on Kuroos lap his head rested on Kuroos shoulder, Kuroo had is arms wrapped around Kenma one arms holding up his back and the other one moving hair out of Kenmas face and tucking it behind Kenma ear. There were eyes on them, but he didn't care he just wanted to make sure Kenma was ok he didn't like to see Kenma sad. Kuroo kissed Kenma's forehead, cheek, lips, and nose, soon Kenma fell asleep then a little boy came up to Kuroo and asked, "Is he ok?" Kuroo looked at the little boy and gave him a gentle smile "Yea, he's ok just his ankle really hurts" the little boy gasped in shock "What happened to his ankle" the little boy said in the cutest voice "We were at volleyball practice...." The little boy nodded for Kuroo to continue as if he was super intrigued "He's our teams' setter and he jumped to set the ball and he landed on his ankle wrong" Kuroo said while stroking Kenma's cheek "Oh, has he seen a doctor yet?" Kuroo shakes his head "No we've been waiting for the past like 4 hours" the little boy sits down at the seat next to Kuroo "Is he your gworlfriend" Kuroo chuckled "Kinda, he's my boyfriend" the little boy ohh-ed "He is really pretty" Kuroo chuckled again "Thank you" the littles boys dad walks up to collect his son. Kuroo kissed Kenma's forehead and the little boy's dad saw this "Son, what are you doing talking to these.... things" Kuroo looked up in disgust "Excuse you, who the hell you are calling things" the dad threw a disgusted look right back at Kuroo "You, is that your boyfriend?" the dad pointed at the sleeping Kenma "Yea so fucking what?" Kuroo was about to throw hands but didn't want to upset the kid "So your gay, gay people don't belong in this world, your parents must have raised you wrong" Kuroo was flabbergasted "Nope my parents just raised me with love unlike your parents, clearly" Kuroo looked at the little boy "Don't let your dad teach you to be homophobic" the little boy looked confused "What's homophobic" the little boy asked "When your homophobic it means you don't like gay people, like your father he doesn't like me because I like boys" the little boy gave his father a disgusted look "WHAT? Dad how could you not like them! There are amazing people" the dad looked super angry and stormed off. "You can be whatever you want to be just know that kid" the little boy nodded.

"Kenma kozume" the nurse called out; Kuroo picked up Kenma and walked to the back room, Kenma was awake now. They did Kenma blood pressure and did that little checkup things you get when you go to the doctor. They take Kenma's weight and height then walk back to the room and Kenma sits on the hospital bed "So I hear you fell wrong on your ankle?" Kenma looks at Kuroo as if telling him to speak for him "Yup" Kuroo knows he's going to end up doing the talking "Ok I'm going to have a look at it ok?" Kenma nods and then look at Kuroo, Kenma holds out his hand as if asking for Kuroo to hold it, Kuroo grabbed Kenma's hand "Tell me if it hurts" She started wiggling his ankle, as soon as she did Kenma semi-yelled "That hurts!" the nurse nodded and wrote something down on her clipboard. "The doctor will be in here shortly" the nurse then left (We ALL know when they say "The doctor will be in here shortly" they mean on like 30-min to an hour and with the place they're at being SUPER packed the doctor won't be in there for about 2-3 hours :)...) Kenma is sitting on the bed nervously fidgeting with his hand, Kuroo was sitting on the chair next to the bed. Kuroo heard some sniffled and looked up to see Kenma crying. Kuroo shot up and quickly sat next to Kenma "Baby! what's wrong!" Kuroo wiped the tears off Kenma's face "I-I'm just scared" Kuroo was shocked "Scared of what, talk to me baby...." Kenma looked up at Kuroo, Kuroos heart shattered when he saw Kenma the way he was "W-what if I-I can't play V-volleyball anymore" Even though Kenma only joined the sport for Kuroo he still loved it "Ken-ken you don't have to worry about that, your ankle shouldn't be that bad I promise you will still be able to play volleyball" Kenma sniffled "P-promise..." Kuroo smiled "Promise". They were cuddled up on the bed and were just happy to be with each other *Knock knock* the doctor opened the door and Kuroo sat up he didn't want Kenma to move and risk hurting his ankle "Hey there Kenma how's it going" Kenma looked up at Kuroo "He's been better" Kuroo chuckles a little bit "Why don't we get a look at that ankle hm? the doctor walks over to Kenma, Kenma quickly grabs Kuroos hand "Hm, It's swollen... How did you fall on it exactly?" Kuroo was already ready to speak for Kenma "He was doing a jump set during volleyball and landed on it sideways" Kuroo explained to the doctor "Ok let's go get X-rays and we will go from there." Kuroo picked up Kenma and followed the doctor to the X-ray room "Ok set him down right there and walk to that room" Kuroo set Kenma down on the X-ray table and gave Kenmas hand a squeeze before walking into another room. They did the X-rays and were just waiting for them to print; they were back in the room waiting for the results. The doctor walks in with 3 papers "Ok so it's not super bad it's just sprained nothing super serious he just needs to be on house rest for about 3 weeks" Kenma lets out a loud long sigh of relief "Ok thank you doctor" Kuroo picks up Kenma and they were heading to the car. Kuroo set Kenma down in the passenger seat of their car "See baby I told you it would be fine" Kenma leans down and kisses Kuroo softly on the lips "Thank you baby, I love you" "I love you to"

(AUTHOR: THE ENDDDD......Of chapter 5......Ngl this almost made me cry of how sweet this is anyways.....I gots some news SOOOOR I might not do chapter 6 tomorrow because I'm sick and I might just sleep all day BUT if not, me being well ✨mE✨ I probably will but if not ya know why ANYWAYS THANKS FOR READING HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS!!!
