October 31st
Today was Halloween and the day Ahmi would be acquainted with her closest friend's family, she was excited to say the least.
I would be a hectic week though because tomorrow was Kaylin's birthday and she would be attending the party thrown by his grandma tomorrow.
Getting reacquainted with Kayden's mom and the rest of his family that she knew of before she moved.
Ahmi felt like everybody and their mama knew her grandmother so it wouldn't be unusual if there was hella people at her house for an event.
"Ke'Ahmi Jade get your behind up and make sure that bathroom is clean" Janessa said pinching her granddaughter.
"Grandma, that bathroom has never been dirty a day in my life why would it be now?" She asked rubbing her stinging arm.
"Girl just do what I said, shit" she said scrunching her face up at ahmi.
"Kids these days, love to talk back" she mumbled walking away, she always got super stressed when she planned events.
She was that one lady in the city that had a get together or some type of event for any occasion, that's how so many people knew her.
Ahmi bucked at her as she walked away then went to check the already cleaned bathroom, she decided to just sit there for a minutes
Ahmi's phone started ringing and it was a FaceTime from Kayden, answering it she saw Kaylin in his little jack jack incredibles costume, even had his little curls in a ponytail.
"Oh my gosh you look so tuteeeee sweet face" I cooed looking at him cheese through the phone.
"Yea cause he look like his daddy" Kayden said putting the camera back on him. "Kayden I'm not playing, you better have that costume on when you get here or it's Gonna be me and you" I told him.
"Girl I'a fuck you" he said.
"Bae I think you forgot the word up" I laughed.
"Nah I meant what I said Ke'Ahmi but imma see you, I love you" Kayden said
"I love you too booski, you too sweet mannn" I dragged kissing the phone the hanging up.
"JADE GET YOUR BUTT OUT HERE GIRL" grandma yelled again making Ahmi start punching the air before she left the bathroom.
"Yes grandma" she said walking towards her.
"Everything is about set up so I'm gonna go bathe and put my costume on, so you go do the same" she said
"What are you dressing up as?" I asked
"Girl A sexy nurse, the sexiest nurse at that" she said poking her butt out making Ahmi scrunch her face up.
"Brotha eughhhh" I said quoting that one tiktok sound.
"Girl are you slow? What in the hell are you talking about? my grandma asked, her old tail don't be on TikTok, she be watching Facebook reels of videos that were on TikTok years ago.
