October 30th
Today was our third day back from Miami, as soon as we landed I went to thank my mom for my car.
After that we've pretty much been getting back into the swing of things, I'm gonna be doing some promo for the salon that should be opening up soon.
My mom has took on all of the responsibilities of making sure everything is perfect and just how we want it, both of us are going to be co owners of this one.
It will be completely done by January meaning that we still have to hire Nail techs, other stylists, lash techs, estheticians, and make up artists. My vision was to just create a massive beauty bar.
Melly already has a job set in stone! I'm gonna make her our head nail tech.
We're all so ready for new beginnings and a new bag in general.
Currently I'm leaving my apartment to run errands, but I have Kaylin with me. I take my step mammy role seriously! Jk Y'all but for real I'm glad Kayden trusts me enough to have his son alone.
He was going to take him to his aunts house but I offered to keep him, since I stayed at his last night. I got home early this morning with Kaylin so that I could change clothes.
"Come on sweet face" I said to Kaylin grabbing his hand so we could go to the elevator and downstairs.
"I hungry" I heard him say.
"Ok boo we gonna go get some food in a second" I told him as we walked outside of the building to the parking garage.
I swear I'm only going to be driving this G-Wagon because this thing is so beautiful.
Once we made it to my whip I picked up Kaylin and made sure to buckle him in, thank god this child looks like his daddy, No shade....
I just realized I'm low key a shady person, oh well I usually just say the slick remarks in my head anyways.
"You read to ride Sweet face?" I asked him
"Yes!" He yelled making me laugh and pull off, I'm already knowing the type of music he likes so I went to my lit playlist.
The first song that played was 'who run it' by G herbo that was my shit in middle school and it still hits.
We drove until we reached Popshelf because I wanted to get some stuff to decorate my apartment, it's fairly empty right now besides furniture.
"Alright stink, once we leave here we can go get something to eat okay?" I said making sure he understood.
I carried him into the store and put him in the cart before walking around and picking out what I wanted.
I ended up spending 252 dollars on house decor, some kitchen ware, bath towels and wash clothes, body and hair care, and random things I thought was cute.
