As I walked back into our dorm room, Hailey glanced up from her textbook, "hey, Violet! What've you been up to? I haven't seen you since yesterday," she asked, her voice tinged with curiosity.

I couldn't contain the grin that spread across my face as I set my bag down on my bed. "Oh, you wouldn't believe the night I had," I replied, my voice filled with excitement.

Hailey's eyes widened, clearly intrigued. "Spill the tea, girl. What happened?"

Taking a deep breath, I tried to compose myself amidst the whirlwind of emotions. "Well, remember how I went to Billie's concert last night?"

Hailey nodded eagerly. "Yeah, I remember! How was it?"

"Billie was absolutely amazing on stage, and afterward, we ended up hanging out at her place." I gushed, sitting down on the edge of my bed.

Hailey leaned forward, hanging onto every word. "And then what happened?"

"We talked, ate some amazing food, and watched movies," I began, a smile tugging at my lips. "And then... we kissed."

Hailey's eyes widened in anticipation. "No way! Are you serious?"

My face lit up with excitement, I leaned forward. "No kidding! I can't believe it—it was absolutely amazing!"

Hailey squealed with excitement, clapping her hands together. "Oh my god, Violet!"

"Yeah," I said dreamily, sinking back onto my bed. "It was like a dream."

Hailey leaned closer, her curiosity growing. "What did she say?"

"She was so sweet," I recounted, feeling warmth spread through me as I recalled Billie's gentle touch and sincere words. "She said she had an amazing time too."

Hailey grinned widely. "I'm so happy for you, Violet. You two seem perfect together."

"Thanks, Hailey," I said sincerely, touched by her genuine happiness for me. "It just feels... right, you know?"

Hailey nodded knowingly. "I can see it. You've been glowing ever since you walked in. And hey," she added playfully, "when's the next hangout? Any plans?"

I chuckled softly, thinking about Billie's whispered promise. "Yeah, we definitely talked about seeing each other again soon."

"That's awesome," Hailey said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I can't wait to hear more about it."

I smiled warmly at Hailey, grateful for her support. "I'll keep you updated, for sure."

The next day I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Groggily, I reached over to my nightstand and fumbled to turn it off.

I stretched and sat up, the memories of the night with Billie flashing through my mind. Smiling, I got out of bed and got ready for the day. After a quick shower I changed into high-waisted jeans and a long-sleeved crop top. I grabbed my backpack and headed out to my first class.

The lecture passed in a blur, and I struggled to focus on the material. My mind kept drifting back to my time with Billie, making it difficult to concentrate. I made a mental note to review the notes later when I could clear my head. After class, feeling more settled, I met with Hailey and a couple of our other friends for lunch. We planned to have our usual game night at Hailey's and my dorm later in the evening.

In the evening, when I returned to our dorm room, Hailey was already busy setting up for the game night in the common area between our rooms. She had arranged a colorful assortment of games on the coffee table and was placing chairs for everyone to sit comfortably.

"Hey, Violet!" Hailey greeted with a smile as I walked in. "Ready for some games?"

"Absolutely," I replied, dropping the bag of stuff I had bought onto the table. "I brought some goodies. By the way, I'm also planning to make buffalo chicken dip later."

"You're amazing," Hailey exclaimed, peering into the bag. "And you brought drinks too? That's great!" She grabbed the alcohol from the bag and headed towards the fridge to put them away.

I chuckled, nodding. "I figured we could use a little extra fun. Let's get this game night started!"

Shortly after, our friends Emma and Alex arrived. I set out the buffalo chicken dip and chips along with the drinks, and we all settled in to start our first game. The room quickly filled with laughter and lively conversation. Hailey, known for her competitive streak, teasingly accused me of cheating at every game.

My phone buzzed; it was a text from Billie.

After Billie agreed to come over, a rush of excitement filled me as I eagerly awaited her arrival

After Billie agreed to come over, a rush of excitement filled me as I eagerly awaited her arrival. With Billie on her way, I joined Hailey, Emma, and Alex for a game of Uno. We all had a blast teasing each other and laughing over our game strategies.

In the middle of an intense game, there was a knock on the door. Hailey's eyes lit up, and she said, "That must be Billie!"

Sure enough, when I opened the door, there stood Billie, looking effortlessly cool in a casual outfit that made my heart skip a beat. She greeted me with a smile and a kiss before stepping inside.

"Hey, everyone," Billie said warmly, earning friendly welcomes from Hailey, Emma, and Alex.

"Welcome to game night!" Hailey exclaimed, gesturing towards the array of snacks and drinks.

Billie chuckled, nodding appreciatively. "Looks like I arrived at the perfect time."

As we resumed our game, Billie seamlessly joined in, immediately pulling me into her lap with a mischievous grin. Her playful competitiveness added an extra spark to the evening, surprising me but making my heart race with excitement.

"You're distracting me," I teased, laughing as I settled comfortably against her.

"Maybe that's the point," Billie whispered in my ear, her breath sending shivers down my spine.

Throughout the game, I stayed in Billie's lap, feeling her arms wrapped securely around me.  Her presence added a comforting sense of closeness that made the evening even more enjoyable. We exchanged playful banter and shared knowing glances, deepening our connection with each passing moment. The room echoed with laughter and the occasional shout of victory as the game progressed, creating cherished memories.

During breaks between games, I leaned back against Billie, enjoying the comfort of her embrace. She held me close, her presence calming and reassuring amidst the laughter and excitement of game night.

"Thank you for coming," I whispered, my voice barely above a murmur as I gazed into her eyes, feeling the magnetic pull between us.

Billie's gaze softened, her fingers gently intertwining with mine. "I wouldn't miss it for the world," she replied softly, her voice filled with sincerity.
