the only thing katsuki bakugou really enjoyed about summer break, was the overbearing heat that came with it.
not because it was the perfect weather to go to the beach or some other sappy thing like that. no, bakugou loved the heat because it meant the hotter it was, the more the blonde would sweat.
and the more he sweat, the harder he could train.
after all, bakugou couldn't just sit and stare at his phone all day and pray that he would somehow telepathically reach you and tell you how much he wanted you to text him.
nah. katsuki was alright like this.
he enjoyed this, matter of fact.
taking in a ragged breath, he did his best to massage the tense and stiff muscles in his forearms, wincing every once and a while as he touched a particularly sore spot.
he was alright with this, after all, it was kind of nice. so what if he hadn't heard from you in a week? it didn't matter. katsuki bakugou did not need someone to consistently text him like that. he didn't.
frowning, his gaze fell to the hard floor beneath him. maybe before katsuki would have thought that way.
but he knew things changed.
he had changed.
and he wasn't sure if it was a good thing, or a bad one anymore. he wasn't so sure, but what he did know, was that he didn't exactly mind having that special someone texting him throughout the day.
