Nick and Trevor arrived home and Trevor kept Nick company as they waited for Gabriella for they had asked her to get them the things the baby would need. She arrived minutes later with a lot of stuff, including a baby trolley and crib. She looked at Nick then walked to the child. She carried her up.
" What are you going to name her?"
" I don't know. I never discussed that with Ivy." Gabriella turned to Trevor, then Nick.
" Why would Roel do this. I still don't understand it."
" He loved her. He had a past with her." Trevor answered. The child started crying. Gabriella cooed her as she made her milk.
" I tried calling Roel but he will not answer." She said.
" He should bring back my wife. If he does not want to go to jail."
Trevor walked to him and gently touched his shoulder. Gabriella observed the child's features.
" She has your eyes and lips. Then her nose, hair and shape of the face is Ivy's. She is going to make the most beautiful girl in the world." Nick couldn't help but smile at these words. Trevor was happy to see him smiling. They continued asking him the names he would prefer for the child but he did not know what he wanted to name her.

Roel and Ivy took a flight to another country. They arrived after a number of hours. Roel booked a hotel for them.
Ivy started thinking about her decision again. What if she was tricked? What if this man wasn't her husband? What if she was not even married to begin with? She wondered why she only used a kiss to believe a man she wasn't sure she even met in her past life. Roel turned to her and took her hand. She pulled away and stepped back. He looked at her and hugged her.
" Hey, it is okay. I know you might be feeling doubtful about this, but don't worry. I will wait until your feel safe and secure around me. Trust me though, I love you Ivy."
" You... You are not planning to hurt me, right?"
" Yes Ivy. I cannot. I love you, remember?"
She chose to trust him. Besides, she had to finish what she started. She just hoped she would not die in the middle of it.
Roel took her to their room and he ordered food which she took. She then got ready to go to bed. She wore her nightdress, which Roel had bought for her before they left their country, with the help of Roel. She then laid on the bed. Roel gently crawled into the space next to her and held her in his arms.
" Can you show me our marriage certificate?" She asked, trembling. She hoped he would not react angrily.
" Hey, stop being scared. You can ask anything. I am willing to do anything to prove to you that I am your husband. I'll show it to you tomorrow. I'll have it brailled." Ivy nodded and he smiled. She felt him leave her side and he covered her. He walked to a sofa and laid there.
" Where did you go?"
" I'll be fine here. I do not want to disturb your sleep. Until you are comfortable with me." She just nodded and closed her eyes. Roel stared at her. He was not enjoying 'being nice' to her. He had to be nice and gain her trust and he hoped she would love him.

Gabriella took care of her grandchild and she did not leave them, because she knew that Nick was sad and he needed help. Trevor did not also leave. They stayed by his side daily and helped him. Gabriella never stopped trying to call Roel but he wouldn't answer. She sent him many voice messages but got the same answer; silence. Meanwhile, Nick visited the police station daily and the police had no progress in their search, until one day they informed him that Roel had left the country with her.
That night, he arrived home and went straight to his room, ignoring Gabriella and Trevor. Trevor and Gabriella looked at each other in a confused manner. Gabriella handed over the child to Trevor and went to check on Nick. She knocked the door to his room but Nick did not respond. She tried to push open the door and it was locked.
Nick had messed up everything in his room. He sat on the floor and could not hold back his tears. He turned to the door. He heard Gabriella calling him but he ignored it.
Gabriella knew that he was suffering deep inside and she wanted to support him so that he gets out of it but Nick did not give her the chance to help him.
She gave him space and walked away. Trevor was busy telling the child stories about Nick's teenage years. She was looking at him as if understanding everything he said. At a point, Trevor laughed and she smiled. Gabriella saw this and smiled.
" You make a great uncle, son."
" Yeah. My niece makes me feel special like a king. She gives me a million smiles a day."
Gabriella smiled.
" So I'll call her my queen."
" Not so bad."
" How is he?"
" He did not open the door to me. He must be hurt. Roel should stop doing this to Nick. He is hurting him deeply."
The child started pulling Trevor's shirt to gain his attention back. He turned to her and smiled. She smiled back.

Roel's phone rang early the next morning and he checked the caller's ID and he answered immediately.
" Roel, where are you hiding and why did you take Ivy away?"
" I took her away because I love her. I am not telling you where I am. Mom can get that information from you easily."
" Whatever. Just know Nick is looking for you. How were you able to kidnap her without her resistance?"
" She has amnesia. She doesn't remember a thing."
" Oh. So you are filling her with lies?"
" Just do me a favor, do not tell them anything. Do not also call me again. I am fine. I'll call you when I need anything from you."
He hang up the phone and turned to Ivy who was just opening her eyes. He walked to her and helped her sit up. He then planted a kiss on her forehead. She looked away. He did not like the fact that it was taking her very long to trust him. He knew he was already doing enough.
