The moon hung low over the Silver-shade crest casting a pale glow on it. Its way past midnight but is everyone asleep? No. The sole resident of the mansion is wide awake with enough caffeine to kill three horses running in her system. And what is she doing?....Punching the hell out of her third dummy. RIP to the previous.
This is Jane Anthlas. Her shinobi ID is "Aquamarine" better known as GD. Her hair -that sarted of with midnight blue, faded into a snowy white colour- were tied up in a high pony, flowed like a waterfall down her back. Her silver eyes though always serene, hold secrets- secrets that dance like shadows in the moon light.
She has been working out for 5 hours and doesn't feel the slightest hint of fatigue. That's what years for hardcore training does to you. She is buff. 6 pack abbs, spectacular biceps and a finely defined back but still has those killer feminine features.
The dummy was creaking with each blow. With one last powerful strike it was put out of its misery. It shattered, splinters flying out in every direction. Jane groaned at the mess she made. Just then her phone lit up with an incoming call. "AIID who's it? " she asked her AI assistant.
"It's Commander Haward Jenna. should I pick it up for you? "
"Yeah, I'm comming."
She pulled off the boxing gloves and put them on the mahogany table, picking up her phone.
"What do you want at this ungodly hour cheif? "
" Hey Marine. um... There's a problem."
"It's 3 Am! "
"And you don't sound SLEEPY! " he retorted.
"Your point?"
"Why don't you take some medications if your insomnia is so bad?"
"It's none of your concerns sir. "
" *sigh* Anyways,Remember the terrorist attack I told about earlier today? "
"hmm"
"They have taken people hostage and the diamond rank squad I sent there has failed miserably. I've texted you the location. We need your help. Please don't refuse. "
Jane let out a huff.
" I'm the platinum rank shinobi for Devil's sake Chief, can you please consider my post before calling me. You seriously think I would agree to run errands for you?"
"I have called you after considering all the options Marine. The situation is sensitive. There is a whole load of people out there, the news reporters, the locals and the weeping family members begging us to take some serious action. We need someone they trust, to control the crowd and get the situation under control."
She gave it a thought. Commanding General Howard was one of the very few people she genuinely respected, and given the fact that she hadn't have some action recently Jane decided to take the lead of the mission and hung up informing him she'll be there in 15 minutes after taking a quick glance at the location.
She then went upstairs.
Her room exahaled a sense of interwoven timelines. A fusion of antiquity and technology. A book shelf with novels of all generes, artifacts of unbelievable value on display and victorian furniture completed with a king size bed. The air smelled like the first drops of rain on soil, refreshing and calming which helps our lady to cool down since she tends to have feral oubursts at the smallest inconvenience.
