Jenna pursed her lips and seemed to hesitate before she opened her mouth. “It’s about Olivia Smith.”

This girl was quite blunt and daring by calling Olivia using her full name. Alana stopped what she was doing. The page stayed in the information about David Newman, the new director. She paid her full attention to what Jenna was about to say.

When she received Alana’s attention, Jenna began to feel more self-conscious about her words. “She was the one who tried to harm you, miss. That woman is a witch.”

Alana was taken aback, and then she chuckled softly. Still, she suggested it to her. “Don’t be so blunt in front of others.”

Jenna scratched her head innocently, then continued. “I overheard her ordering the housekeeper to put peanut on your dessert. Aren’t we not supposed to put in peanut for the meals? Then, when I volunteered to bring the dessert, she specifically told me to put it in front of you.”

Jenna had a small frown on her face. Alana was silent for a moment, and then she nodded and thanked her. Jenna was a bit embarrassed that she thought Alana was trying to get her kicked out because she didn’t like her. She realized that it wasn’t the case.

“You are not surprised, Miss…?” She trailed off, then she stopped herself and bit her lip. “Forgive me for asking such a question. I didn’t mean it.”

“That’s fine. I believe you that she did it. It was not the first time it had happened.” Alana mumbled, and she began to pick up her laptop again.
Her words left Jenna pondering about them.

The news on the internet was in full swing about the rumored new movie of Director Murphy. People were guessing what kind of movie that had made him abandon the popular story “You and a Billion of Stars”. Most of them were excited to find out about it.

After a while, Alana closed her laptop in tiredness. Her scripts still needed a lot of editing, but a bit more, and she nearly finished. That night, she slept a bit more peacefully than usual.

When she woke up again, she found Lilah already messaging her to spend time together. Because Jayden was extremely protective, he didn’t allow her to leave the home without company. They agreed to just meet at the new house.

Alana also wanted to show the house around to Lilah. They had rarely seen each other since Lilah’s schedule had become more tight, though she still visited briefly every day during the time she was in hospital.

They immediately hung out in her room after she asked Jenna to send them snacks. Lilah asked her after Jenna left, “Did that man ever contact you again?”
Alana blinked in confusion. “Who are you referring to?”

At first, she thought that Lilah was referring to Lorenzo, but she was wrong. Lilah had known about the feelings of the two, and sometimes even teased her about it.

“Bastard Harris.” She replied bluntly.
Alana was taken aback by the new nickname, and then she laughed loudly.
Lilah glanced at her and raised an eyebrow. “Isn’t that a fitting name?”

Alana nodded furiously. After spending more time with Lorenzo, she realized how a man treated the woman he liked. He’d pay attention to every single detail about his girl and often remember things that she didn’t remember.

It was different with Albert, who had been acting when he was with her. That man treated her nicely at first and then he changed one hundred and eighty degrees to the opposite of a loving man he was.

Even so, Alana admitted that she couldn’t be in any relationship right now because the scar from her last life was still too deep. She needed to work on that because that might be a hindrance to opening any new relationship.
