I was watching as Percy was walking back and forth across a wall with a nervous expression on his face. Damn he sure did look hot like that.

"Hey, we'll figure it out", I said reassuringly. At least I hope it was reassuring because he still looked nervous. Now, I said this because we were on a quest. Me and Percy. Together. Ok I might have a slight crush on him that has grown over the years, but that's not the point. Annabeth and Grover were supposed to be here with us. I say "supposed" because they weren't right now. The last we saw of them were when they got shoved into a van and drove off to gods know where.

"Well we have to figure this out right now before we lose them. We need a source of transport", he said.

"How about we use that?" I pointed at a black motorcycle leaning against the opposite wall.

"You're a genius, y/n" he said, finally sounding somewhat happy.

He quickly went up to the motorcycle and hopped on.

"You coming anytime soon?", he asked with a smug look on his face.

Gods I couldn't resist this boy.
"Um...what? W-with you?" I asked though I knew the answer and I couldn't help but smile at the thought.

"Unless you'd rather walk" he shrugged.

A bike ride with the Percy Jackson. What a dream. I mounted the bike gripping behind me so I wouldn't fall.

"Hold on" he said "It's gonna be a bumpy ride"

I waited for him to start but it wasn't happening. He turned to look at me with a confused look.

"Oh I'd rather hold onto this" I said catching on why he was looking at me.

He smirked and said, "Let's see how long that lasts"

What was that supposed to mean anyway, ugh what a tease. Percy gave it a good kick and the bike made a loud noise. I wasn't gonna admit it but I might've flinched. He pulled back and turned towards the road.

"Umm...Percy? Have you ever actually rid on..." I had to stop mid sentence because I was thrown...straight...onto...Percy.

"I told you to hold on" he sounded proud of himself as if he was the one who discovered Nectar or something.

I hesitated. If I did this, would I ever be able to let go? I put my hands around his waist and gripped tightly. I guess Percy tracked the van down somehow because we were on a chase, but quite frankly I couldn't concentrate. I also couldn't help but notice that he was going sort of red as if he was blushing.

"Hey, you're blushing" I smirked.

Percy's POV

"W-what, no I'm not. It's probably the cold"

Was I really that obvious. Of course I was blushing. Who wouldn't. I was practically hugging a living goddess. I couldn't help but crush on her a little more at that moment but right now I needed to concentrate on that van. Her grip on me tightened as I went faster. I could feel her breathing down my neck. Gods, she was amazing. One of these days I had to confess to her right? Why not right now. Even if she doesn't feel the same I could feel her hold me one last time this way.

"Y/n...I have to tell you something. I've wanted to tell you this for a long time. I've liked you...e-ever since we first met. And I like you now...still."

Silence. Did I make her uncomfortable or something?

"Y/n, say something, please" what's up with her?

I turned reluctantly. Oh. She was asleep on my shoulder. That must explain why her grip around my waist wasn't suffocating me anymore. Well, I guess the grand confession would have to wait. Until then I'm gonna make these moments with her last.

My POV

I was asleep on his shoulder...that's what that seaweed brain thought. I had heard every single word he said including his confession. I had to try very hard not to break character. He likes me? Percy Jackson, bravest most popular hero at camp half-blood, likes me? Me? Wow. What do I do? Do I tell him I heard? But I had to wait to decide because the van in front of us stopped, so naturally so did we. I pretended to wake up. I guess I'll catch you after a whole load of monster slaying.
