Battle of Naboo

The Naboo spacecraft has landed in the Gungan swamp.

Troops unload the ships in the background as Obi-wan approaches Qui-gon.

Obi-wan: Jar Jar is on his way to the Gungan city, Master.

Qui-gon's thoughts are elsewhere.

Qui-gons: Good.

Obi-wan and Qui-gon stand silently for a moment.

Obi-wan : Do you think the Queen's idea will work?

Qui-gon: The Gungans will not easily be swayed, and we cannot use our power to help her.

Obi-wan: I'm...I'm sorry for my behaviour, Master. It is not my place to disagree with you about the boy. I am grateful you think I am ready for the trials.

Qui-gon looks at him for a long moment, understanding.

Qui-gon: You have been a good apprentice. You are much wiser than I am, Obi-Wan. I foresee you will become a great Jedi Knight.

A bit further away, Drakar and Solaris are having their own conversation.

Solaris: Master?

Drakar: Yes, Kale. Is there something wrong?

Solaris: Well... do you think I'll be ready for the trials soon?

Drakar: Heh, you overheard that Qui-gon believes Obi-wan to be ready. Am I right?

Solaris: Yes, Master. I know I may sound entitled, or over-eager, but I can't help but feel that I'm almost ready.

Drakar: Don't worry, Kale. I do believe that it won't be long before you are ready to become a Knight. You are strong in the force, and skilled with a lightsaber. However, you are still a bit too inexperienced. But that may be my fault. I have held off on taking you on more... risky missions.

Kale grew a bit saddened upon hearing his Master's words, but perked up upon Kree finishing his thoughts.

Drakar: But, considering the mission we're on today, I think that it may be time to place you in more of the higher-risk missions. So, don't be disheartened. You will be a Knight soon, I am sure of it.

Kale face developed his usual smile upon hearing that his Master did have faith in him.

JAR JAR exits the swamp lake and walks over to Queen Amidala, Captain Panaka, Obi-wan, Qui-gon, Drakar, and Kale. Padme, the other handmaidens, Anakin, and R2, four pilots, and eight guards stand in the background near the starship.

Jar Jar: Dare-sa nobody dare. All gone. Some kinda fight, I tink. Sorry, no Gungas...no Gungas.

Capt. Panaka: Do you think they have been taken to camps?

Obi-wan: More likely they were wiped out.

Jar Jar: No...mesa no tink so. Gungan hiden. When in trouble, go to sacred place. Mackineeks no find them dare.

Qui-gon: Do you know where they are?

Jar Jar nods and begins to lead the group to the Gungan "sacred place". The group follows Jar Jar as he moves through the swamp.

Jar Jar: Dissen it.

Jar Jar makes a strange chattering noise. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Captain Tarpals and six other Gungan troops riding on Kaados emerge from the brush.

Jar Jar: Heyo-dalee, Captain Tarpals.

Capt. Tarpals: Binks!! Noah gain!

Jar Jar: We comen to see da boss.
