On the recent event of the Great Devourer, Ninjago was back to safety with the Ninja supporting them fix their torn city. With such a vicious, menacing beast consuming most of the location, repairs were necessary. Buildings were left in a ramshackle state, streets caved in the scraps of car metal that had be stripped from their transporting roles and cracks from the heavy weight and impact of the Great devourer were noticed in such areas during its attack. There is a lot to take care of now that the snake is gone for good with voluntary help needed for the civilians. Who would help more than the Ninja who saved the day?

Well... With the help of the Dark Lord, who still didn't seem to be in eyes sight anymore.

Garmadon had saved Ninjago with the four Golden Weapons: The Shurikens of Ice, Nunchucks of Lightning, the Scythe of Quakes and the Sword of Fire. It was a storm of events, watching the four-handed, ancient villain dive down, from a towering landscape, towards the head of the beast, plunging his rage into the one, minuscule, luminous spot centring the head of the scaled reptile. It was exactly like a scene from a film, the villain coming in with a mighty change of character, stopping its creator. The Great Devourer's venom was what caused Garmadon's pure blood to turn dark. Even if he had become the villain, there was still some hero dug deep in his purple heart. It was just now that the pernicious purple had consumed the wonderous white that had  broken free.

For the Ninja, neither of the team are concerned for the Dark Lord, not as much as they were before anyway. They are more focused on what was waiting ahead for themselves and their new member. Their responsibility now is to train Lloyd, the legendary Green Ninja, and prepare him for his future destiny to defeat his father, Lord Garmadon. Lloyd was a legend that the Ninja didn't believe to be him. For a boy his age, becoming a Ninja must be a challenging aspect of his life. A young ten year old, who should still be in school, training to be a Master of Spinjitzu just like his father, uncle and grandfather. It is and will always be a crazy destiny.

In a team sport, all four Ninja scooped up a sign post, standing it up on its broken stand. It was the shape of an 'M' with a blue base and a white rim to make the sign stand out. Three Ninja held it up with the fourth close beside it to weld it down with what powers they had left. They are weak, mildly confused and unsure of what was to come next now that their weapons had gone into the wrong hands. Garmadon had taken his advantage of defeating the Great Devourer with the Golden Weapons to then take them for himself. It was a dangerous scenario, but at least they were able to stop the scaled beast from destroying Ninjago.

"Ugh, finally. All fixed up and Serpentine free." Cole hummed at the chance to relax from any Serpentine activity. Now that Pythor was gone, they had nothing to worry with the other snakes going underground, that is from what they heard. As for what the Ninja knew, those Serpentine wouldn't be coming out anytime soon and even if they did, they knew the Ninja had the upper hand.

"Aargh." Nya winced, trying to produce a flame in her hand with every dramatic effort she gave. It flickered into a spark like any flint and steal would when producing a flame. The raven huffed as her powers barely came conscious. "Ugh, this is frustrating." Her foot stomped to the ground, ocean eyes glaring down at the cupped hand. Another spark spat out, but there was no flame.

The boys beside her, began to lose balance of the street sign as Zane let go for a moment, "Ah," but they caught it just before it fell. "Shoo."

"Our weapons are gone and most of our elemental powers are gone. I mean, we can still do Spinjitzu, but..." Her grunts fall sharp, drawing her hand towards the base of the metal pole and giving another attempt. Nothing came out. Instead, Zane came in with back up. A blowtorch. "I just feel so, I don't know, limited. And thanks to the Great Devourer, our tank's out of commission, our dragon's hurt, and now the Bounty is destroyed, we don't even have a place to sleep." The Red Ninja ranted, frustrated to be in such a ditch all of a sudden. How are they suppose to thrive on without a home? How are they suppose to train Lloyd?
