Two Hundred Years Ago...Tidals scream, waves cry and the ocean wails in the steamy night. Bobbing down and then rising up, the legendary ship made its tip. Its sails bowed, guided by its whispering driver as it dived, dolphin like into the obscure, blue lagoon. It was a tipping ship, spilling in the ocean as any floating boy would do in the middle of the wild seas. A dazzling gleam, shining softly against the streams jingled in chime, a lantern, attached to the tipping ship, hung with pride.
"We have spent months searching for this fabled Island of Darkness," rumbles of a drum thundered through oak planks, "but all my eyes have seen is ocean. I fear my crew has given up, but I hold out hope that it exists. -Captain Soto." The tide guides the way, a skull and a lantern scrapping across the table where a foreign figure stood. His face was aged, wrinkled and creased with forever marking growth. A moustache curled in a upside down 'u' shape that carved around thick, scabby lips with a simple stubby beard. With one eye visibly tired, the other was covered with a thin, black eye patch that he showed of with the addition of a curvy hook. This dear man, was a pirate. With his large hat, formal attire, he was a pirate. One going by the name of Captain Soto.
Captain Soto scribbles his words into the crinkled book he owned, a diary. He writes what he words out in his mind, scratching it onto the page before he gives a quick signature below. With his left hook, he slams the book closed, picking it up with his right hand and slotting it into a secret compartment in the table where it is hidden from any deceiving eyes.
"Hardy, hardy, hardy, ho. Hey, we all in a yo-ho-ho." Captain Soto waddles onto the decks with his wooden prostatic leg. Scowls stare off at the four crew members chiming away in song that they played together in instrumental harmony. Their Captain though, found their behaviour utterly barbaric.
"This is no time for fooling around. Who's steering the ship?" A drunken member rose from the barrel he was perched in. He stirs, worm like in his movement as he wakes up from a intoxicated slumber.
"Don't worry, captain. No-Eyed Pete is behind the wheel." A bottle of whisky slips off to the floor, clashing in a mess of glass, falling to its mighty impact. Soto splutters on his word. He creaks around to the main quarters where a crewmember with two eyes patches holds onto the wheel. The captain frowns and shakes his head.
"No! Not No-Eyed Pete!"
"Awk," a parrot squawks on the driver's left shoulder. "left!" No-Eyed Pete turns the wheel right and the parrot gives another chirp. "No, the other left!"
Just then, something came into eyesight, the crew were in awe at the sight of what they expected to be... "The Island of Darkness?" Captain Soto growls at their stupidity and runs to the blonde pirate up above.
"No, you fool!" He shoves Pete out of the way and takes the wheel into his own hands. "He's steered us back to Ninjago. All hands on deck! Brace for impact!"
The ship collides straight into a cliff, hitting it harshly and causing it to smash. It delicate sails, fold on impact, causing everything to freeze as the scene of titanic flashed before their eyes. It was the end of Captain Soto and his crew...
