"Focus." In Dareth's dojo, Lloyd was practicing his balancing and strength skills. The tasks was set that he had to balance all the ninja and his uncle in one go, holding up the weight with his arm. "In order to bear the fate of on your shoulders, you must first learn to bear the weight of all of us." Wu was on the top of the stack, holding a tea pot and mug to satisfy his drinking pleasures. Zane was standing on Lloyd's feet while carrying both Nya and Jay in each arm. Cole was stood on the Nindroids head while the Earth Ninja had their Master at the top, sat on his shoulder. Poor Lloyd had to carry all of them with just one hand while maintaining balance. The four ninja were starting to grow nervous, causing them to wobble. "Focus."
"Sensei, I'm starting to think this was a bad idea." jay looks up to his master, eyes pleading. The fall wasn't small at all and Lloyd was struggling to hold them all up.
"Yeah, Sensei, he's just a kid." Forest green eyes look up to the master above.
"In order for him to succeed, we must all trust one another." Wu reminded them, but when a builder's bulldozer starts to roll up with an unpleasant noise, Lloyd begins to whimper, losing focus. Cole concern grows strong with the inability to investigate the noise.
A boulder is smashed through the window, knocking everyone over. They scream on impact. Shards of glass, shoot out, smoke rising in a thick grey fog as the once stable wall is demolished to pieces. Each ninja is left on impact to the floor, faces planted. "What was that?" They all groan.
"WHOA, WHOA, WHOA!!!!" Dareth flies out from the beaded doorway, consumed with confusion and rage. The builders look through the destruction, surprised to see people still inside. "This wasn't supposed to happen until tomorrow!" The Brown Ninja yelled, panicked to see his dojo in pieces.
"Tomorrow?" One of the builder's asked. "Let me see that order." His employee hands over a piece of paper with the order written on. He frowns. "Oh, yeah. My bad. Sorry about that. We'll be back in the morning." The two leave without another word, leaving Dareth in shame. Even one of his trophies was damaged, bent at the stand.
"Uh, Dareth, what is this all about?"
"Well, I fell behind on some of my payments and some developer named 'Darnagom Enterprises' is buying the entire block to put in some stupid frisbee-golf course." Dareth explain, looking at the mess of his now ruined dojo. "They say if I don't come up with 50,000 by tomorrow, the dojo is gone."
"But, we already lost the Bounty. We can't lose the dojo now. Even if we do have the training area at the apartment, we can't afford the equipment to train Lloyd." Jay complains, thinking about the luxury they already had of training in the dojo. Without it they barely had the right equipment to afford anything that will help them train Lloyd. They couldn't just rely on Kai, who was now using some of his time working to earn some more money while they were staying in the city.
"My trophies." Dareth clutched the fake award to his chest. he rocked his body from side to side in a soothing motion. "Oh, my fakes trophies!" Zane looked up at the sign behind them.
"Wait a minute." The sign was of the company that was buying the dojo. "'Darnagom'? When you rearrange the letters, it spells—"
"O grandma?" Jay raises a brow, not understanding the frizz to the comment. Nya nudged him and pointed.
"No!" She spat. "Garmadon!"
"Right." Blue scathes the back of his neck. "That would make more sense."
"Um, my dad is behind this?" Lloyd sighed.
"Any chance you got 50,000 in that teapot of yours." The Brown Ninja pointed to the blue tea pot in Wu's hand. Wu shook his head, but decided to think things through.
