I look at the comments as I feel a small tear drop down my cheek, I was in a field on my own trying to practise but all I could think about was them comments. was I really that ugly. I was use to the sexist comments but I was never told to kill myself.
I turn off my phone getting fed up with the comments and get up. aurora stop being a baby it's not that big of a deal right?
I grab a ball and start do to some kickyupys, I really liked lamine and I hope he likes me as much as I like him. but did he deserve better because of my 'anger issues'.
as I was thinking I heard some shoes walking through the stones to get to the field I was in. I look over to see lamine looking at me smiling as he walks over to me, I wipe away my tears straight away and put on a smile.
"hola amour, how are you" lamine said smiling as he pulls me into a hug, I loved his hugs, he is the best boyfriend.
he pulls out of the hug still holding onto me, he looks at me and notices the dried tears on my face, I look down to the ground hoping he won't say anything. he softly grabs my chin and lifts it up.
"aurora I saw the hate comments aswell. I just want you to know that I love you so much and you are the prettiest person in the world, don't let their options get to your pretty head" he said rubbing my cheek soflty.
I nod at him still trying to force a smile, I still didn't feel better one bit. I mean if you got tons of hate comments telling you to kill yourself at 16 that would be pretty hard to forget, he smiles and picks up the ball next to me.
"let's see who can keep it up the longest?" lamine asked smirking at me, I'm the best at keeping the ball up I could do it with my eyes closed. he starts off and passes it to me.
it goes on for a while but finally I got the win since lamine let it hit the ground because he was too tired.
we both hold hands together and walk back to his house. his house was really nice he still lives with his family since he is only 16 after all. this is my first time meeting his family so I have to try be calm and not get angry.
"hola lamine is this your girlfriend" his mother asked sweetly with a Spanish accent. the question made me and lamine blush.
"yes mom her name is aurora, aurora this is my mom." lamine introduces us to eachother.
"hello nice to meet you" I said pulling her in for a quick hug.
