I run into roras best friends house and storm in to the sitting room where I see her sleeping on the couch and pedri sitting next to her. pedri turns his head and puts his finger up to his mouth to shush me.
"shit sorry how is she" I whisper sitting on the other side of the couch putting her head on my lap and play with her hair.
"ya she's okay now, but I have to go meet pablo so I'll see you later" He gets up and leaves and I wave goodbye.

it's been a few hours and I see roras eyes slowly opening, she looks up to see me smiling down at her, she returns the smile.
"how are you feeling rora" I whisper as she slowly sit down.
"I'm okay now thanks lamine" she says as she looks down at her hands fiddling with them.
"hey it's not your fault okay your mom is a horrible person okay". she nods at my words and quickly pulls me into a hug. we stay like this for a few minutes.
"i love you lamine so much" she mumbles shyly into my shoulder. I smile at her shyness.
