What if Sonic, Silver, and Shadow were... babies?

Blasted!

3rd person:

Sonic, Rouge, Amy, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, and Silver had just busted through the front door of Eggfaces latest base. Half of the circular room was a dim yellow, with a pale red the rest of the way and onto the roof. Sonic started to zip around the dimly lit room, checking for anything suspicious.
"Hey Eggbreath! Where's the other two chaos emeralds!?" Sonic yelled.

"Ohohohohoh don't worry, my little group of zoo animals. You'll see them soon," Eggman said on a speaker from above.
"What are you standing around for, Sonic, let's go," Shadow said.
"I know, I know, I just can't shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen."
"What can he do with just two chaos emeralds? Stop wasting our time, and let go."
"Alright," Sonic mumbled, but he just couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen.

As he sped off into the next better-lit room after his friend's hoards of robots started something out of slots in the wall.
"Now this is more like it!" Sonic said excitedly as he started to speed up in his spin dash and crashed into robot after robot. Everyone's in the heat of battle. The next thing they knew, they were in the second to last room.

Sonic, Silver, and Shadow walk in first to what seems like a big room with all the lights off. Then a huge metal door with a controller panel on the other side smashes down and separates them from the rest of the ground. All three look around at the door.

"Huh!?" All three say together.
"Hey, what's the big deal!" They faintly hear Knuckles yell. After some smash, someone else speaks up.
"Let me try." Says Amy. And after a shot series of pounds, they hear someone else talk.
"What about me?" Says Rouge
"Wait, guys, it's obvious this isn't going to work. HEY SHADOW, CAN YOU CHAOS CONTROL OVER HERE?" They hear Tails shout.
Shadow takes out the green Chaos emerald, "Chaos control!" but nothing happens. "What?" While Shadow sat there wondering why his famous chaos control wasn't working, sonic decided to act instead of worry. "It's NOT WORKING, BUD!" Sonic shouts with cupped hands. "THINK YOU CAN TINKER WITH THE DOOR?"
"ILL TRY!" He hears in response.

"Well, if you guys are quite done trying to escape..." The three hear from the other side of the room.
"I'll skip the introduction and get to the fun part, rats." Eggman's voice echoes around the big dark room.
"What are you planning with the chaos emeralds!" Silver shouts.
"Oh, I'll show you the emeralds," Eggman snickers.
Suddenly, a bright blinding light turns on, and before their eyes can adjust to the light, some robot holds them all tightly from behind.
"Next time you see me, you'll be crying for your mommy's. Baha hahaha! " He said the last couple of words in a mocking tone as he pressed a button and sent a stinging ray of light onto all three of them, knocking them out instantly.

Tails pov:

I was trying to find out the number code for the door that had just slammed down after Sonic Shadow and Silver had walked in. "Ha, finally got it!" I said, "And a good thing too." Rouge said with one ear to the door. "I know they can finish Eggy up fast, but I can't hear anything at all from the other side."

"ARGHHHH." We all hear loud and clear. "They're in trouble, let's go!" Amy said in a distressed voice. As Knuckles lifts the heavy door, we all run into the next room.

It's bright, but as we enter the next room and our eyes adjust, we see a small Sonic Shadow and Silver sleeping on the floor in a stack. Sonic was on the bottom of his stomach drooling, Shadow was in the middle, also on his stomach but snoring loudly, and Silver was in the middle, sleeping on his back facing the roof, also drooling. They look like they have been shrunk or something.

I admit it was pretty cute seeing them all sleep together like that, but I only got to admire it for a second as I realized the metal Sonic was standing over them. He somehow managed to hold the five emeralds Sonic, Silver, and Shadow had in one arm and, in the other, looked like he was about to attack them.

"Not today!" I hear Knuckles shout as he punches Metal, though; he only moved about two feet from where he was standing, dropping the green emerald he had in his arm.

"Oh, you little varmints have to ruin everything, don't you! You're almost as annoying as those three!" We hear Eggman say while he's floating in his Eggmobile. "What did you do to them!" I yelled back, "Oh, just a little transformation, don't you worry your two Tails about it? Actually..." He said with a grim smile. "I'll show you." He pulls out an oddly twisted gun-like machine that looks like a silver horn but with two chaos emeralds attached to the sides, and shoots it at me.

"Ahh!" I yelled as I ducked, and it hit metal sonic as he shrunk to the same size as the other three hedgehogs. "Grrr. YOU VERMINS." He yells with a fist up in the sky and starts firing at all of us.

"I think that's our invitation to leave," Rouge says while flying to dodge the shots that Eggmans firing at her. "Grab the boys and let's get out of here." "We'll need the chaos emeralds, too!" I shouted as I picked up Sonic and ducked at the shot Eggman made to stop me. I ran out of the room, holding someone else would pick them up, as I ran out the base with Amy ahead of me with silver in her grasp.

Eventually, Knuckles and Rouge caught up to us, and after we ran for what felt like an hour, I had to tell them to stop in a big field with one big tree in the middle. "I know the way back to my house from here," I said out of breath. "How come?" Amy asked. "This is Sonics favorite place to rest beside my place. Of course, I learned my way back. It should only be another thirty minutes from now." "Well, what are we waiting for?" Knuckles said. "Lets go".
