Largee Marcus woke up late, again. His alarm blared to life, but he hit the snooze button repeatedly, unable to shake off the slumber. He finally dragged himself out of bed, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. As he got dressed, he mentally prepared himself for another day at school.

"Be cool, Largee," he told himself. "Just be cool."

But it was easier said than done. Largee had always struggled with shyness, and it seemed like the more he tried to be confident, the more awkward he became.

At breakfast, the tension with his family was palpable. His parents were always on his case about something, and Largee felt like he could never measure up. He quickly finished his meal and headed out the door, eager to escape the stress.

In physical science class, Largee found solace in the familiar laws of physics. He loved how predictable and logical they were, unlike the chaos of his personal life. Plus, it gave him an excuse to use his camera, which he was passionate about. He enjoyed capturing the beauty of leaves and the way light filtered through them.

Lopez, his friend and classmate, sat next to him, and they exchanged a nod of acknowledgement. Lopez was one of the few people who truly understood Largee, and he was grateful for that.

Throughout the day, Largee struggled with his shyness. He tried to be calm and collected, but it was hard, especially since he was still new to the school. He felt like an outsider, always observing but never truly participating.
