Chapter 10: All The Water In The World

Your chat with the master had been a long one. He was outraged at Juvia's betrayal.
That's strange. You didn't see it as a 'betrayal' at all.. but you were never really friends with her anyway.

Walking back to the apartment, your mind becomes lost in clouded thoughts and memories, the only thing that removes you from this dream like state is bumping into something cold... and.. fleshy?

You look up and are shocked and amused at the fact that every time you meet Gray, you're either on the ground or lying down.
"Uh.. hey." You say awkwardly
" oh hi!" He mumbles back in a daze, staring into your e/c eyes.
You lay there with him on top of you, gazing into your eyes, for what seems like an eternity.
"Ummmm gray i think we should get up.... people are staring"
He looks flustered and climbs off of you.. he then offers his hand and you accept gratefully.

On the way back to the apartment, you tell Gray about Juvia's attack and your chat with the master. You can see Grays face tense with anger at the mention of Juvia's name and decide to stop talking and change subjects.

"Uh so gray I was wondering.. uh... what.. uh.. what are we. I mean... uh.. that is to say... uhm.. we .. uh slept together. .. so what does that make me? Also, I know that you probably won't like me now, because I couldn't stand up to Juvia when she attacked me"
He glances at your flustered and blushing face. He grabs your hand and you both stop walking to face each other.
" Y/N, why wouldn't I like you? You're an extremely talented ice mage and you were very tired when Juvia attacked you, so its not your fault. And.. if you'd like. .. um... you could be my girlfriend? .. uh that's if you want to"
You stare blankly at the beautiful ice wizard in front of you and think about how gorgeous, kind and.. protective he is.
" Gray Fullbuster, I love you, and I want nothing more than to be by your side as your faithful girlfriend." You state.
Gray smiles his adorable smile and replies
" I love you too Y/N. All the water in the world can't come between us. Say it. "
You take Gray's other hand and push your forehead against his and whisper
"All the water in the world can't come between us"
Gray leans forward and kisses you lightly, and you kiss back, hard.
"Woah love, not in the street" he mumbles seductively in your ear.
You blush and mutter back
" I haven't even gotten started yet."
Gray shivers and smiles at you.
" what's wrong, ice mage? Can't take the cold?" You wink
" no" he replies " it's the heat I can't stand"
And with that, you both walk hand in hand towards Lucys apartment. Both hoping that she hadn't returned yet.....
