Chapter 11: pancakes.

sleepily, your eyes open up slowly, and the light dances on the floor through the gap in the curtains. morning. your favourite time of day. mainly because you get to see Gray, that handsome ice mage.

its been a year today since the wedding and you couldnt be happier for natsu and lucy, they were made for each other after all and seeing happy as the ring bearer was too adorable! but part of you wonders if you'll ever have that life. marriage, kids, everything seemed impossible. until Gray.

your mind lulls into a happy, dreamlike state as you think about the past year youve spent together. all the dates and guild parties you've visited together (and occasionally slipped away from ;)) slide through your mind and you catch yourself thinking about the first time you met. his ice cold body pressing you to the ground as you fumble over your words to tell him to get off of you, but also the way you didnt want him to remove the pressure of his body against yours, that strange ice cold heat felt like home to you now, a place for comfort and protection and-

"oh hey YN, glad your pretty face is finally awake" Gray walks into the bedroom holding two plates of hot pancakes, hes half naked, obviously.

" i was kind of hoping there'd  be something different on the breakfast menue today" you tease, knowing your words would rile him up

"oh, i thought you liked pancakes" gray whines with his cute little pouty face "well don't worry, I'll eat yours for you!"

oh god, hes irresistible.

"nono!! i meant.. you."

"ohh i see YN, you want to eat me!!! I'll call Lucy and tell her you're feeling cannibalism is the way to go today"

at this point, you cant tell when he's joking anymore. hes changed since you first met him. his hardened demeanor is softer somehow, and the scars that grace his light flesh are somehow beautiful to you. maybe that's what love is, seeing a persons flaws and loving them. perhaps thats why he's different, he loves your flaws too.

"shut up, baka, come and cuddle me" you giggle

gray places the pancakes on the nightstand and crawls across the bed towards you. pulling you into his chillingly warm embrace, you shut your eyes and wiggle up to his chest, completely oblivious to his eyes watching your every move. almost like juvia watching his. but this is affectionate and loving, not at all like juvia

the guild master's decision had been to send juvia off alone on a 10 year mission, that paid poorly, in a way you felt sorry for her, it wasnt hard to be completely infatuated with gray after all. you'd even suspected natsu of trying to steal him from you at one point

after a minute or two, you look up to gray and see his adoring eyes boring into your soul. his perfect lips just asking to be kissed, so thats exactly what you do

pressing up against him, your lips collide into that ever passionate dance, and though its only a kiss, you can feel the passion and love emanating from his body, he wraps you tighter in his arms and you can tell he's getting turned on

not yet you think to yourself and break away from him.

the pouty face is back.

"YNNNNNN, why must you do this to me" he whines

"because gray, I'm on a mission to tease you permanently" you wink at him and reach over to the pancakes. its not often he brings you breakfast in bed so you try to make the most of it while you can

between mouthfuls of syrupy pancakes you ask him
"why didnt you wake me earlier, we could've made breakfast together"

he sighs and says "YN, youre beautiful when you're asleep, and you also arent teasing me when you're asleep, so its a win- win situation to be honest" he winks and you stick yor tongue out to him

"so whats the plan for today?" you ask

"i was thinking we'd head to the guild and visit Gajeel and Levy, they've just arrived back from their mission and i thought you'd like to see them"

ughhhh, as much as you like Gajeel and Levy, you can't help but think that you want Gray to yourself today, and only to yourself. 

"whats wrong, love?" he leans forward to see your face better

you push yourself forward and position your mouth next to his ear, whispering, you say "i was thinking we could stay home today, maybe in bed"

he giggles and you move away to see his pale face turned bright red and his hair sticking up slightly more than usual.

smirking, you put the empty plate back on the nightstand  next to his and motion for him to lie down next to you. he does so and you place your head on his chest, gazing into his eyes as he strokes your hair

suddenly, you realise he's lost his underwear

you smirk to yourself and look up at him

"what is it"

"ohhh nothing gray, i just couldnt help but notice that you seem to be missing something"

"huh?"

"all Im saying is you're wearing significantly less than you were before"

"ah shit, i hate it when that happens" he begins to sit up and look for his underwear but you push him back down and giggle as you wrap your legs around him, pressing him back onto the bed

"oh i see what youre doing" he smiles the mischievous smile that you fell for, and you completely melt into his kiss, he sits up fully now and lies you back down, his lips not once leaving yours as he slides his nimble, icy fingers over your body, leaving pleasant tremors through your body. his touch never fails to amaze and excite you, his hands creep to the waistband of your shorts and he quickly slides them off, he places his hand onto you and you inhale sharply, his touch feels amazing and you find yourself getting warmer somehow, although he is ice cold.

hearts racing and mouths kissing, you and gray continue touching eachother, inhaling sharply and kissing sloppily, desperate to get more of each other. then he pushes you back down and takes off your shirt.

"theres the tits i fell in love with" he laughs, grasping your boobs

you slap his hand and laugh "baka" and kiss him passionatley, his silly humour getting the best of you and making you melt more into his touch. then, out if nowhere, he slides his dick into you, surprising and delighting you

"im sorry YN, i couldnt handle waiting any longer" he pants into your ear between thrusts

you don't reply, your body mind and spirit too enthralled in the waves of pleasure taking hold of your body. connected, yourself and gray an infinte being traversing across waves of pleasure and lust...

he collapses next to you on the bed, both of you breathing heavily. he lets out a small chuckle

"what" you smile as you catch your breath

"i should make you pancakes more often YN, that might be the best yet"

again, you smirk
"who said i was finished"
