Marky's

Intramurals week.. finally, nakapahi-pahinga rin from acads n stuff..

It's afternoon, 2:30 PM. I'm the team captain of our basketball team, representing the Architecture department. Beside me is Vistal, my friend. We're currently in the changing room, wearing our varsity uniforms.

"Baka durugin mo yung marketing dept. ha? Easyhan mo lang." sabi ni Vistal habang nagsisintas ng sapatos.

Well di sa pagmamayabang eh may alam ako sa basketball since laki akong kalsada. Kumbaga di naman mahigpit ang parents ko nung bata ako, I'm always with my childhood friends, enjoying our lives as a kid.

"Baliw, magagaling rin yung mga yon. Natalo nga ata nila ang tourism dept. Di ka ba kinakabahan?" inayos ko na mga gamit ko and also nagsintas na rin ng sapatos.

"Anjan ka naman , ba't ako matatakot? Kaya natin to Marky! Isa pa lalabas na naman mga fans mo later.  Gawin mong motivation." sabay tawa. Di lang naman ako ang may fans, pati sya meron.

"Sira. Ikaw rin naman. Tara na nga magsstart na ata yung game, mag wa-warm up pa tayo."

We stood up and lumabas ng room. Well to be honest, I'm kinda nervous since may mga bagong recruit ang marketing dept. and rumors circulate na magagaling ang mga na-recruit nila.

Well I'm here to enjoy the game.. wag masyadong seryosohin.

"NEXT GAME WILL BE BASKETBALL GIRLS, ARCHITECTURE DEPARTMENT VS. MARKETING DEPARTMENT.
PLEASE  BE READY FOR WARM UP IN 5 MINUTES."

"Just enjoy the game lang team okay? Have fun and do what makes you happy! Let's go Archi dept! Let's go!" Marky said.

Marky and her team are in the court doing their rounds of free throw and practicing their huddle. 5 minutes has passed, the game will now start.

Celeste and her friends entered the court. Hoping that their male classmates will be playing on Marketing's Basketball team but it turns out that it is still Women's Basketball game.

"Earl, sabi mo men's basketball? Girls parin oh? Anong oras ba start ng laro ng  Men's na marketing?"  Celeste looked furiously at Earl(Earn).

"Ewan ko ba. Frank sabi mo Men's na ngayon?" Earl and Frank(Ford) are Celeste's friend.

They are looking for a bench to sit onto but as soon as they reach the bench..

"Vistal, pasa dito ng bola!" Marky screamed, Vistal passed her the ball hard and Marky tried to reach the ball but it was too high so Marky can't reach it.

"ARAY!" i heard a voice behind me. As i turned around, nakita ko ang babae na nakaupo at hawak hawak sya ng mga kaibigan nya.
