My head stung with so much pain and all I could hear was the sound coming from my pumping veins. I was on my bed being shaken by someone while the morning sun rays beamed in my face.

"Lola, Lola, Lola wake up! Bitch, wake up!" Melanie's rough voice laced with annoyance as she shook me. "Yeahhhh, I'm up." I said lazily while I screwed up my face. "What time is it?" I asked while glare at Melanie for interrupting my sleep. "Time for you to wake up, don't you know you have a class at ten and it's nine o'clock sharp." she said. "What?!" I rapidly got out of bed. "Yeah, what happened to you last night?" she asked.

"What happened to me? What happened to you? And where the hell did you go?"

"After dancing, I looked for you back at the bar but you was nowhere to be seen. I called and texted getting zero response and later the night, you get dropped off by thee Ashton Kingsley who literally carried you?!" she screamed, bringing my faded memories of last night back to me.

"Oh right, I was with Ashton last night."

"Tell me more!"

"Well, after you left, he appeared outta nowhere, claiming I wasn't having fun, so I proved him wrong and drank god knows how many shots then I think I forced him to dance with me."

"What a slut," she playfully said before I laughed. "And thennn? Please go on." she kept her attention focused on me.

"I don't know, that's pretty much all I can remember," I rubbed my temple.

"Nothing spicy? Anything?! Cause he literally carried you bridal style when he came over."

"Well, I think..."I started as I tried to recall any other interactions that occurred between us, then it hit me
I remembered...his delicate dark eyes watching me closely, then meeting my own eyes and refusing to look away.
"We kissed." I said lowly with disbelief. The scream that escaped Melanie's mouth was unmatched. It was like I had won the lottery or something.

"Ya'll what?!" she jumped up. "It's not such a big deal, Mel, don't make it sound so deep. We were just drunk." I shrugged. "Drunk in love, yeah," she said, making me chuckle. "So how was it, was it good good? Or goooood," she smirked. "I heard his lips are so soft, were they? Oh my gosh, did he touch you? And where?!" Melanie couldn't stop ranting with her questions. My cheeks somehow started heating up, was I blushing over this guy?

Then I remembered about Ethan and that we had not seen each other in days. "You said it's almost ten o'clock, right?" I asked Melanie who just nodded because she was currently coughing due to over excitement. "Then I gotta get ready and go to class." I said before rushing to the shower. "But we cou-" she coughed again. "We could go to-" and again. "Together!" she finally said. I thought that if I hurried up, I would go check up on Ethan to see if he was alright after the party he went to yesterday.

"Ethan, you in there?" I asked for the millionth time as I knocked, then decided it was time I barged in. I slowly opened the door and saw no sight of him in his room. It was empty, then suddenly, the bathroom door opened. "Lola, what are you doing here?" Ethan asked, walking out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his lower body. "I came to check up on you, after last night and all. I mean...you never texted or called, so, I was worried." I said before he paused. He nodded stiffly but looked a bit tensed and kept glancing in the bathroom. "I wanted you to come over yesterday but was too turnt up so I couldn't text, or call." he started.

"O-kay."

"Think you can make it tonight? At seven or eight."

"Wait, like a...date?" I asked and I swear, excitement clearly spread across my face. He made an unsure face, scratching behind his neck. "Yeahhh, yeah, something like that." he finished. Ethan finally asked me out on a date after months and I was so happy.

"I can't wait."

"Me too." he said. I decided to not leave without a kiss so I stepped forward and planted a kiss on his lips but he rapidly closed the bathroom door that was ajar instead. "Hey, can I use your bathroom real quick? I really gotta go?" I asked, knowing what I was doing. He hesitated before answering. "My toilet's busted so it's not working properly for like...days now."

"Huh? Well jokes on the toilet, I don't want to use it. It's your Lavender shampoo I want, for my hair."

"Oh fine then, cause I have some in my drawers, I can just go get it for you," he attempted to walk away but I held his wrist tightly. "Ethan, what are you hiding in there?" I asked. His face tensed up.

"What do you mean? I was just taking a fucking shower."

"Then why are you giving me so many excuses on why I can't use your bathroom? Who's in there?"

"Nobody, god Lola, why do you have to be so clingy around me?"

Clingy? Of course I'm supposed to, I'm your girlfriend for crying out loud. "

"Well it's getting boring okay, you always text me when I don't want to be texted or called. I don't need your attention anymore Lola!"

"Ethan, what?"

"You heard me! How am I supposed to be with a person who can't fulfill my damn needs, Lola, tell me! I can't keep up with your sex after marriage rule, I want sex, Lola, I need to fuck every now and then!"

"Is this what this is all about?" I asked, holding tears back, my voice already cracking. "My sex before marriage rule? I implemented that rule on myself because I respect my body and I thought you did too."

"And I did, I respected it to the extent that I listened to you whenever we were on the verge of fucking and you'd say no, but your rule applied to you and yourself, not any other girl on campus or in school."

"Baby, are you coming?" a female voice said from the bathroom. A tear literally escaped from my eyes as I glanced back at Ethan. "I hate you." I whispered before leaving.
