Once upon a time there was beautiful princess named Brooklynn. Brooklyn had gorgeous blue-green eyes, light pink lips, beautiful long black-ish brown hair, and small freckles, barely noticeable.

Despite Princess Brooklyn being the fairest of all the lands she thought of herself as off-putting and ugly. Her mother, Queen Melissa, never seemed to notice, as she was too busy trying find a new husband, or her last one died of unknown causes.

One day, as she was getting ready for bed, Brooklyn was greeted by witch who had broken through her window to attempt to steal from the palace.

While she was afraid of this witch, she was also rather intrigued by their mysterious beauty: red-ish blonde hair, she'd seen nothing like it, cold and yet soft blue eyes, clear freckles all over them, even on the small glimpse of their leg that she saw. They stared at each other in shock, for the witch too was mesmerized by the other's beauty.

The exchange ended there, the witch had to get out as soon as possible, for they didn't want to get reported.

Brooklyn thought that'd be the last she'd see them, yet one fateful day she decided she'd sneak into town for a bit in disguise. She recognized the witch running a stall in the market, selling herbs and jars and crystals.

They noticed her as well but pretended they didn't.

Brooklyn could tell they recognized her, so she approached their stall.

"What are you doing here?" Brooklyn demanded.

"What does it look like I'm doing,  genius?" The witch responded.

Brooklyn looked at them in disgust 'The audacity!' she thought.

They were both quiet for a moment.

"Do you wanna buy something or not?"The witch chimed in, to break the silence.

                                * * *

They started talking and Brooklyn found out the Witches name was River.

"So why are you here?" She asked "I thought witches lived in enchanted forest or whatever."
"Some do," River responded "but I live in town."

"So why'd you break into the castle that one night?" Brooklyn questioned.

"I don't know what you're talking about." River joked.

     Brooklyn glared at them.

"Okay, okay. Fine!" River continued. "I steal from the palace sometimes to give their riches to the commoners. You guys have so much money, I figured it wouldn't hurt to give a little something to the community."

Brooklyn stared at her blankly for a moment before she started speaking. "You sneaky little witch."

"Yeah, that's kinda the point." River teased.
