You lowered down your book as you gazed towards the Deer demon infront of you, quietly enjoying his tea and his other hand making a book float to also read. He had a relaxed expression on his face and you can't help but wonder how the hxck did you get to this point?!

After that breakfast 5 days ago, He watched you like a hawk for most of the day and that really made you nervous and uneasy, in the end you couldn't take it anymore and gave in to pressure as you had a much needed talk with him.

And that much needed talk turned into a DEAL!!

although it wasn't really a deal that you saw him took before, after all you kinda wrote a modern partnership deal between the two of you and he actually agreed with what was written in the contract.

And so, you became partners!

That's right folks! you became partners in crime with the person—demon that you were trying to avoid and here he is asserting ‘what's wrong having coffee, tea, whiskey, rum etcetera etcetera with your business partner’ and you can't help but agree to his company anyway.

Obviously, he was in a suspiciously good mood these days that even when Angel Dust barge in to his room unannounced, he didn't get angry but just threw him out.

The other day, Charlie also finally proposed the much awaited Commercial for the Hotel and not much was changed except, yes the Deer demon was in a good mood and didn't get into a scuffle with Vaggie and just straight up directed the whole thing anyways, You had a small part to it too, just waving besides Angel Dust, since you also said that you weren't much of a camera person.

Of course in the end the same thing played out in the First episode in the First season of the series. Still you can't help but think that Adam in the first episode was also a bit of a dxck, you won't deny that.

That night was a bit somber and you also cooked curry again to cheer up the bunch of sulking children.

You managed to lift up their spirits and that put a smile to your face.

Sometimes you really felt that you were a parent taking care of bear children.

Your thoughts were cut off when you suddenly heard a rumbling sound and the Hotel shook for a bit. You looked down from the balcony and saw sir Pentious declaring his name and titles and lastly he also challenged your business partner into a duel.

You turned towards Alastor who gave an annoyed glance downstairs and gracefully stood up, “Well, Sweetheart i will be back..”

He took your hand and gave a customary goodbye kiss at the back of your hand that he recently started to do after the partnership contract. He would kiss your hand as a greeting and as a goodbye and honestly, you have already grown accustomed to.
