You made a bed out of the haoris, and cleaned his wounds as the others were preparing a burial for the dead. You also couldn't take your eyes of his face.
There was something about observing him. He woke a little, catching you off guard.
He looked at you calmly, and you guys held eye contact for a few moments. "Inosuke.." he said.
"What?" You questioned.
"My name... Do you really think I'm incredible?" He was half asleep so I'm guessing he has no idea hes being this calm.
"Yeah." You smiled.
Sudenly his eyes widened, and he was wide awake. He jumped out of the bed. "FIGHT ME, FIGHT ME FIGHT M-"
"Silence!" You bonked him.
You two looked over at the burial.
"OI, WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!" Inosuke yelled.
"It's a burial." You said. "You should go and help if you've rested enough."
"We could use your help." Tanjiro smiled.
"WHATS THE POINT OF BURYING CORPSES OF PEOPLE?! IM NOT HELPING OUT."
"Awhh, is it because your wounds are hurting you?" You said, making him pause.
"Hah?"
"You should rest, I'm sorry for asking so much of you Inosuke.." You walked ahead of him. "Carrying bodies and burying them is not for the weak."
A vein appeared on his forehead.
"HAH?! DONT YOU UNDERESTIMATE ME!" He pointed at you. "ILL BURRY A HUNDERED- NO! TWO HUNDERED OF YOUR BODIES!"
"Jeez Inosuke." You sighed.
"ILL BURY 5 TIMES MORE THAN ALL OF THEM TOGETHER, WATCH ME!"
After you were done burying the bodies, you all prayed for the dead people, paying your respects to them. Of course, all instead of Inosuke.
He was headbutting a tree one on one the entire time.
"What is that person doing?" Teruko questioned.
"Better not look." You sighed, earning a 'mhm' from her two brothers.
"Inosuke, you should join us."Tanjiro said.
"I'm not joining a fucking burial for dead people!" He said before headbutting the tree once more. "Whats the point if they're not even here?"
It's no use..
Soon after, the kids left, and right when you were about to leave the Kasegui crow flew above your heads.
"Cacowww! Head down the mountain, down the mountain!" It said. "Follow me!"
You started walking where the crow was taking you.
"Hey, where are you going?" Inosuke asked.
"We're heading down." You said.
"IM NOT DONE FIGHTING YE-"
"SILENCE!" You shot your signature glare at the boar head, actually getting him to shut up.
...
"Woah.." He thought, as if he was amazed at how frightening you can actualy be.
The whole way afterwards, down the mountain, Inosuke kept arguing with himself, while Zenitsu was exhausted.
And you were still heart broken about your hair. It was a bit shorter than shoulder lenght, but it used to be to your butt.. Hair grows anyways, but it also held your memories. You didn't cut it since the accident.. It's all in the past now anyways.
